CHAPTER V

“Mori?” She asked in shush tone but was answered by the walls. “Where is he at this moment?” She asked herself as she saw the clock that is on the bedside of Mori showing it’s already seven o’clock in the evening.
Isabell walked out from the bedroom and tries to find Carmel if she knew where did Mori have gone. But she was immediately greeted by her fiancée’s appearance just outside her nephew’s room.
“Carmel, did you know where Mori is?” She asked her betrothed.
And the taller lady nodded and said, “of course, love.”
“Thank goodness,” Isabell muttered as she held her hand against her chest. “Then, where is he.”
“You must be kidding me, he’s right there.” Carmel said as she pointed her forefinger at the door behind Isabell.
“Huh? What do you mean?” Isabell asked dumbfounded. “He’s not there.”
“Maybe he went to explore the mansion?” Carmel said with her hands on her chin as if she’s contemplating.
Which Isabell took it as the main reason why Mori is not in his room. “You were with him, right?” She asked.
“Yeah, this morning I was with him but I suggested that he should get some rest because I saw how tired he is and by from what you told me.” Carmel replied. “And then he went here to rest, I thought.”
“Hmm~ Okay. You too, you should get some rest. I will look for him.” The shorter female said before turning her back from Carmel.
But before she walked away, her fiancée gets a hold of her wrist, spanned her around and slammed her lips to her. And the shared kiss of them immediately turns into a heated one.
Carmel’s wet muscle playfully licks Isabell’s lower lip, requesting for permission to enter her crevice, to which she gladly permitted. But the tease Carmel didn’t enter her tongue to her mouth, she only proceeded to tease her beloved from biting, and kissing her lips.
This made Isabell grew impatient and grabbed Carmel’s collar with a low growl and tugged it indicating that she wanted more of her. The taller female pulled her waist and press their body against each other.
And the moment that Carmel finally entered Isabell’s cavern, a cough interrupted them.
“Ah!” They immediately pulled away from each other’s face with burning cheeks.
“The dinner has been served, Miss Carmel, Miss Isabell.” Jack, the care taker of the house said.
“Y-yeah…. We ahh… We will get there immediately.” Carmel said in a stutter trying to avoid the older male’s gaze.
While Isabell only stood there with her back facing them and wiping her lips with the hem of her clothes.
“Understood.” Jack said with a bow before completely leaving them.
When Jack finally out of sight the two women looked at each other from the corner of their eyes before breaking into a fit of laughter.
“Hahaha, that was…” Carmel couldn’t finish what she’s saying because she is busy laughing.
On the other hand, Isabell is clutching her arms around her aching stomach. As the two of them finally stop from laughing they look at each other again and Isabell beamed with a bright grin, while Carmel only smiled at the beautiful sight in front of her before kissing the forehead of her lover.
“Let’s go.”
The dinner was done and yet Mori was nowhere to be found. This situation made Isabell worried about her nephew.
“Where is he?” She walked around in circular manner while chanting continuously the question, “where he might be?”
Carmel could not stay still whenever she saw Isabell like this, “stay here I will find Mori.”
“Alone?” She asked her. “No, it’s too dangerous to go outside. I will call Jack to go with us.”
“Us?” Carmel asked her fiancée bewilderedly.
“Of course, I will go with you.” Isabell said before walking to the telephone and call Jack.
Carmel immediately stood up when she heard that Isabell is going with them. “No, you’re not going with us.” She told with her eyes show pure defiance as she held her wrist down before Isabell could finally pick the phone.
“What?” The shorter female said in annoyance. “What do you mean I am not going with you?!”
The taller female lets go of her wrist and stepping back, avoiding the look at her eyes she told her, “like what you have said, it’s too dangerous outside. And I don’t know what will I do if something happens to you. I love you.” She said with tinted cheeks.
“Yes, and will you please call whoever knew the whole place? Thank you.” Isabell said through the phone.
“What?” Carmel was dumbfounded when she learned that Isabell did not heard what she has been blabbering.
Isabell faced the mouth-agape Carmel and said, “I have already called Jack. We will go out right now and find Mori.”
She walked passed her taller partner but was instantly halted when she was grabbed on her shoulder. “No! I won’t allow it.”
“And why not?!” She asked with same intensity.
“You told me you found huge paw prints on the balcony of Mori that night, what if that animal is out there?!” Carmel emphasized her thoughts by stepping forward and towered over her lover.
“I told Jack to bring a gun.” Isabell stepped forward looking directly at her eyes. “And I will find my nephew with or without your permission.”
There is a staring contest between these women before Carmel let out a defeated sigh. “I can’t do anything to make you stay, can I?” She weakly chuckled while rubbing the back of her head.
“Nope. Not a thing.” Isabell firmly stated with her arms cross before turning her heels and walk away.
“You really are stubborn woman.” She whispered as she stared at her retreating figure lovingly with a small smile. “That is why I fell in love with you, so damn hard.”
