The powers awaken.

My alarm clock started ringing and I slapped it in my attempt to turn it off. I opened my eyes. I can't feel the pain in my body and I got up on the back of the bed. I took a look in my room. I have to clean it up today. It's like a bomb went off in here, I thought and smiled at myself. I got up, walked to the bathroom, did my job, brushed my teeth, dried my face and went out to the room to start cleaning. When I was done, I went down to the kitchen for breakfast. Luckily my parents work in the travel agency office and have to travel a lot. A knock on my door made me get up and open it. My aunt's smiling face warms my good morning mood. "Good morning, Aunt Sheila! I smiled, hugged her tightly and invited her in. "Good morning, sweetie," she said, passing my double and stroked my cheek gently. We sat on the kitchen counter. I offered her some coffee and myself and sat next to her. "How are you, honey? Do you have problems at school?" she asked me smiling anxious at the same time. "No, Auntie, everything's fine." "See, honey, it's something you need to know," he said skeptically, and I don't like it when it sounds that way. "Tomorrow is the first full moon since you turned 17," she continued. "Maybe you've already noticed some changes in your body and your mood." How does she know that? I thought. "Tomorrow I want you to go to the nearest forest, with your friends Amelie and Oliver, they'll help you." "Don't be near anyone but these two. They'll be there to protect you," she said, and I looked at her with wide open eyes. "What do you mean they're going to protect me? And will they help with what?" I asked her anxiously. My life is threatened by what and who? I kept thinking. The only people I can imagine are these stupid girls, Charlie and her minions. "Everything will be explained to you tomorrow, honey, I'll find you. Trust me on this." "Okay, Auntie." I said as we're done with oyr coffe. She got up to leave. I kissed her cheek, hugged her and took her to the door. So many questions and no answers make me think about what she meant by that. The day passed quietly and easily. I cleaned the house, did my homework and lay on my bed listening to music. Boring things just to get through the day and wait for tomorrow, to find out what the hell all this means. I woke up the next day, went down to the kitchen and prepared a makeshift breakfast to eat and have some coffee. I called Amelie to finish our chemistry assignment. When she came, we went to my room and started working in peace which was weird for me. Amelie always talks about everything. "Are you all right?" I asked her and she just shook her head in the affirmative and kept looking at the papers in front of her. "Amelie, what's wrong with you? You're acting strange, and I'm worried about you. I'm your friend, you know that." I said and crucified my hands in front of my chest. "It's nothing to worry about, princess. Today you will learn everything you need to know," She said and smiled at me. Princess, what the hell, she never calls me that. There's something wrong with her. Thought! And I still don't have any answers to my questions. We're done with the paper. "Please come to the coniferous forest behind the school at 9." She said going to the door and I gave her a nod in the affirmative to it. I closed the door behind her. Time passed quickly. I got ready and started on my way to school. Because she needs me in the woods, she knows that minors are not allowed in. If they see us, we'll all have big problems. I finally got to the woods. I can feel my skin burning, the full moon is starting to show up in the dark sky. I walked to the entrance to the forest. I felt a terrible pain in my spine, but it's tolerable in my body. I saw Amelie and Oliver's faces smiling at me. Before I reach them the pain is unbearable and I can hear my bones cracking. I fell to the ground and hugged myself from the pain I feel. The pain stopped instantly and I feel the adrenaline running through my veins. I want to run. Something in my head that yells at me to run as fast as I can. I started running unconsciously, I can feel free. I enjoy the air in my face and there's so much power in me. I stopped as soon as I was confronted with a magical landscape. I found a little lake among the trees. The full moon is reflected in the water of the lake. This place looks magical. Tall trees hide it, and it's so unfair. I got closer to the water. I saw the reflection and stood up with concern, looking around and behind me. It was a wolf. "Don't be afraid, princess." That was crazy, it can't be true. I was a wonderful, strong and huge wolf. Not like the stories I used to hear from Oliver. But something different and almost wonderful. I was a handsome silver-gray wolf with enchanted blue eyes. "Who said that?" "I did it. I'm your wolf, Alki." "How can you listen to me and talk to me?" I asked almost confused.  "We're one now. Everything you feel, everything you think, we share. I'm here for you now." And I was looking at the shape of my wolf in the reflection. I heard quick steps approaching from afar, I smelled in the air. I know those smells.  "Don't be afraid, princess."  "Stop calling me that. I'm not a princess. I'm a freak and now a freak who can turn into a wolf. Just amazing!" I thought, sarcastically to myself, and bypassed Alki's statement. Two wolves come closer to me and lower their heads. "Who are you?" "Stop it, they're guards, princess," Alki said. They look up and look at me. I'm much biger than them.  "It's us, Hope." I took a closer look was Amelie. "What the hell, Amelie? What's going on?" The light brown wolf came closer to me and looked me in the eye. "Hope, we've been your guards since they killed your parents. It was an order your father, our Alpha and King, gave us just before he died."I cut short what Oliver was saying. "What are you talking about, Oliver? If you're my guards, why did you let those stupid people at school intimidate me?" I asked angry.  "And that wolf, where was she when I needed her?" I continued and felt a hard pain, crossed my body, as an electric wave that shocked me hard and I fell to the ground. I stood on my feet when the pain stopped and I'm trying to see my reflection. The two wolves transformed instantly and stand naked in front of me. They ran and hid themselves behind the trees and dressed up. I was still wearing my clothes, I noticed confused. "You're royal, that's one of your talents," Alki said, and I felt relief. I thought she left me. "I'm sorry I wasn't there for you. Let them explain." Whisper in my head. Can she whisper? Thought.  "Yes, I can," she replied. I smiled at myself because that was funny. "Hope can we talk now?" Amelie said, and Oliver smiled at me.  "Okay, start!" I said in a cold voice. "When you were about 4 years old, there was an attack on your father's castle. The attackers wanted to kill you. You're the first royal triybrid alive. Your necklace was what kept you alive, and hidden all these years, through a spell your aunt did for you." Amelie stopped to breathe. My eyes were wide open to what I was hearing. They both walked closer to me. I sat on the ground confused. I put my hands on my head. Oliver touched his hand on my shoulder in a comforting manner and knelt at my height.  "The spell that was on your necklace was to block and hide your powers and memories until the first full moon after your 17th birthday. So you could hide in open view between people and go to school and do ordinary things. By the label triybrid, I mean you're a werewolf, a vampire and a witch. Now that you've turned 17, it's your duty to meet your father's pack, your mother's clan and the kingdom of witches and wizards." I was so confused and desperate. I wanted to run away from what I was hearing. I couldn't believe it. My breathing is heavy and my scattered thoughts revolve around my head. "Your real name is not Hope Summers!" said Amelie in a demanding voice. "You're Valeria Hope Blackwood, princess of the underworld of Mystic Falls." "Your kingdom and your castle are waiting for you. When, you're ready, of course," Oliver said with a bowed head and a cheerful voice. I raised my head to look at them and told them to stand up. "Let's go home and you'll tell me everything you know about me and my past." I said in a cold voice. I took a deep breath to prepare for the worst possible scenarios.
