The Busy Day

"Maam, you have five meetings this day" Shiela informing her boss.
"Thats good" aly sighs "What is the first one?"
"Meeting with the taiwanese investors later at 8 am" Shiela saw her boss nods so she continues "at 10 you are to meet with the Accounting Dept for the montly sales and expenditures" aly again nods "Next is lunch meeting with the product publisher. I think they need your opinion on something maam"
Aly is still listening to Shiela but she cant help but think of Dennise too. Multitasking in other words.
"Maam, are you listening?" Shiela snaps on aly.
"Of course I'm listening. Fourth meeting na tayo right?"
"Yes maam. Your meeting Engr. Galang this afternoon. Its about the orphanage that you are planning to build"
Aly showed a smile on her face. She felt excited "And the last one?"
"Meeting with Ms Gretchen Ho at 5 pm"
"Okay. Thanks Shiela, ready your things cause were leaving in a minute" Aly ordered.
"Yes maam" Shiela exits the office.
Aly stood up from her desk and walked around her office. Didnt know what she's feeling. "Bakit ko ba kasi nagawa yun!" Aly while slapping her face "What did you do to me Dennise? You are ruining my system! Aaaaaargh!!!"
Shiela entered the office and found her boss tweaking. She creased her forehead.
"Uhm maam? Shall we get going?" Shiela interupts aly.
Aly was left dumbfounded. "Ye-yes, we shall" Aly left her office in a flash, not showing Shiela her embarrassment.
@ the meeting
"We will definately make your money grow sir. And I will make sure that you would not regret your partnership with us" Aly while standing up from her seat.
"I will count on your words Ms Valdez" helds his hands.
"Thank you so much Mr. Choi. Till we meet again" Aly shaking his hands.
"Yes, right! Will you be at the Macao conference?" He asked excitingly.
"Of course sir. Will you be there too?"
"Yup. So indeed, see you." And he gave Aly a warm smile.
"Lets go sir?" Shiela asks the investor politely pointing the door.
"Sure, sure" Mr Choi nods and follows Shiela out of the conference room.
"Haaay. One down, four more to go!" Aly stretches her arms and knee on her chair.
Shiela enters the room and saw her boss laying her head on the table "Maam, we can have a break if you want" she offered Aly.
"No, no, no. Call the accounting dept. I'll meet them now" Aly insisted.
"Okay maam" Shiela nods.
The meeting with the accounting went flawless as well as the lunch meeting with the product publishers. Aly and Shiela are now traveling to the site where the orphanage is to be built.
When both arrived at the site, Engr. Galang greeted them "Alyssa!" the engineer hugged aly tight which made Shiela jump in surprise.
"Ninong! Long time no see po" Aly did the 'beso' to her godfather.
"I know hija, the last time we met nasa staple ka pa and now look at you! May tower ka na!" Engr. Galang proudly said "And, you're sharing your blessings pa" he added.
"Hindi nman po akin yung tower Ninong eh. Hahaha" Aly said humbly.
"Sa ngayon ly. But soon, ibibigay din sayo" her ninong said while giggling.
"We'll see po" Aly cant help but giggle too "So, ano po ang plano?"
After the greetings, Engr Galang led them to the tent. He laid all his blue prints on top of the table.
"Ito plano ko hija, since malaki nman ang property mo marami tayong malalagay na additional amenities"
"Like what ninong?"
"Like gardens, basketball courts and small auditoriums. Prayer rooms and more rooms for the kids" He said "Unlike other orphanages na play ground lang ang meron"
"How about the main building? Anong plano niyo dun?"
"The main building would have three floors. First floor is where the staff's room are located. Andun din ang dining hall, living room, kitchen and recieving area for visitors" he explained "Sa second floor nman ay ang mga kwarto ng bata, each room has four beds at magkakaroon ng twenty rooms in both second and third floor. Each floor din has three bathrooms"
"Woah, malaki nga po yun ah" aly said in amaze.
"Di pa ako tapos hija, the playground is at the center of the main building. Meaning nito ay napapalibutan ang playground ng building"
"I really am getting excited about this ninong" Aly smiled "Kailan po ba matatapos ang construction?"
"Hmmm, 7 months siguro. Malaki laki kasi tong project na to eh"
"Ganun po ba? Medjo matagal nga po pero I think its worth the wait"
"Worth it nman tlga eh. You are so kind hearted hija, sana katulad kayo ng anak ko"
"Ninong" Aly taps his shoulders "Partner ko po si Vic dito. Me, Gretch, Marge, Mika and Kim. Kami pong anim ang nagpagawa nito" Aly smiled.
"Really? Ibig sabihin walang kinalaman ang ValCorp sa construction na to?" He creased.
"Hmmm... Meron nman po. Yung foundation ng Valcorp. Pero mostly po the money came from our own pockets ninong at syempre sa negosyo din namin"
"Yung foundation ng ValCorp? Yung Abigail's Eyes?"
"Yes ninong" she nodded.
"But this is a big project, pano niyo masusustentuhan ito?"
"Kaya namin to ninong. Money is not a problem" Aly said andexcused herself out.
Aly is touring the land that will build their dreams. And will help many. All of their earnings in Cryano Agency goes directly to the construction of this orphanage.
After an hour, Aly decided to go back to the tower and prepared for Gretch's appointment. While Shiela stays more for further inspection in the site.
Upon arriving the tower, Aly headed straight to her crib. She feel sticky and hot so she decided to take a bath. Then she dressed herself casualy and went down the agency.
While waiting for her team, an idea flashed her. Though she is having second thoughts. She is going to check up on Dennise.

Dennise is in a very good mood the whole day. Even though she doesnt get texts from Aly, she understands it. Duh! She's a COO of a big company. She's very busy.
Despite the thought of being lonely, it immediately changes to excitement and happiness. When are we meeting next? Is it soon? Maybe she would find me clingy if I text her right? Oh God! What are you doing to me Alyssa Valdez!
A buzz from her phone took her attention. OMG! She's calling!
"Hello?" She smiled widely.
"Hey, Dennise" Den just blushed upon hearing her voice.
"Hi whats up?" Den trying hard to contain her overflowing happiness.
"I just wanted to check up on you. Hows your day?" Dennise moves her phone away and started to jump around her office.
"Good. Better. Best" Den giggled trying hard not to show her giddiness.
"Thats good. Uhm... I have something to tell you" She changed her facial expression. Uh oh, kinakabahan ako.
"Okay. I'm all ears"
"How do I start this... Uhm... I cant meet you for two to three weeks" after hearing this Dennise felt an ache in her heart.
She tried not to break her voice but she failed "W-why?"
"I have an international convention to attend at Macao plus I'm meeting important persons there"
"Oh, I see. Hahaha. Pasalubong ko ah?" den trying to lighten up the atmosphere.
"Sure ano ba- *cough I'm sorry but I need to end this call" aly in serious tone. Because her friends just entered the office.
why? what happened? as if I can ask her that "Its okay. Haha" den laughed bitterly.
"I'll hung up"
"Yeah, bye"
