Dennise let out a deep sigh inside her office. Her secretary, Tasha, heard this for the nth time this day and she is really worried about the doctor.
"Doc, are you okay?" Tasha entered while holding a cup of coffee.
"Oo nman. Why'd you ask?" Den takes the coffee and sips from it.
"Because you've been so down lately. May problema ka ba?" Tasha really showing her concern.
"Pag sinabi ko sayo baka hindi ka lang maniwala. And I think I can handle this" She showed a weak smile.
Tasha, in defeat, excused herself "Sige po doc, balik lang po ako sa table" Den nods at her.
Dennise cant help but feel down. The fact that she has not seen aly for about a week and not getting any texts or calls from her is just very depressing.
Why aren't you calling me? Ganyan ka ba tlga ka busy? Dont you miss me? Well, wala ka nman tlgang responsibility but... the fact that we... Urgh! Whatever! I hate you! .... Urgh!
Dennise composed herself and concentrated on her paper works. A minute or two passed then a knock on the door was heard.
"Hey, is the doctor around?" Dennise heard this familiar voice which just made her more depressed and tired.
"Hi Inno!" Tasha greeted him "Yes she's here. I can see that you're not giving up huh"
"Definitely not! So where is sh- woah!" he was cut because den came out of her office "Still very beautiful doc" den just rolled her eyes "May I invite you for dinner?" Inno asks while handing flowers.
Den answered "N-"
"YES!" Tasha cut her. Den glared at her secretary but she didnt mind. "Please take out doc Den for tonight. And make her happy okay?" Tasha winks at Inno.
"So, shall we?" Inno offered his arms but Den didnt move an inch.
"You shall" Tasha butting in again and pushed the two out of the office "Enjoy!"
Dennise walk ahead of Inno. She is very annoyed by this man. She doesnt like his aura. Its like he's pretending, not showing his true self. She can sense that Inno is a good man but despite that, she can still see that something is really off.
"Dennise, wait for me" Inno walking the same pace as Dennise "So, where do you wanna eat?"
"Ikaw na bahala" Den said coldly. As much as she wanted to be polite but her mood is really killing it.
Inno opened the door for Dennise. He also tried pulling the seatbelt for her but its already taken care of by Den. They drived silently, Inno sensing that she doesnt really want to talk.
They arrived at tgif. Which made Den feel even more depressed. This is the same branch that she slapped Alyssa for the second time.
They entered the restaurant and sat at the same table she and her friends were. Inno ordered for her, the same dish she ordered that day.
They started eating and Dennise took a sight of where Aly sat that day. She saw an image of Aly which made her eyes grew wide.
"Hey, are you okay?" Den was brought back to reality by Inno. She catches a glimpse again but no longer saw Alyssa.
"Can you please take me back to the hospital?" Den said now showing her sadness.
"Uhm... Only after you finish your food. Hindi mo pa nauubos oh, baka magkasakit ka pa" Inno showing concern.
Den just nods and started eating her pasta. Inno was a bit happy cause for the first time, he had a meal with Dennise. Well, he's been asking her out for the fifth time this week. Not to count the previous weeks though.
When Dennise finished her food Inno invites her for a walk. Dennise has no choice but to agree and is going to take this opportunity to stop Inno from pursuing her.
"So Den, can I call you Den?" Inno showing a smile while both are walking at the park.
"Sure" she weakly smiled.
"Uhm... May nanliligaw ba sayo ngayun? I mean, sure meron tlga kasi sa ganda mo ba nman but, may sineseryoso ka ba ngayun na manliligaw?"
"Yes may manliligaw pero wala nman akong sineseryoso" as Dennise sits on the nearby bench "Pero may sineseryoso ako, kaso di ko alam kung nanliligaw siya" Inno can sense sadness on her tone.
"Do you like him?" Inno nervously asks.
"Siguro. Syempre. I'm serious nga diba? Hahaha" despite Dennise giggles Inno can still see the loneliness in her eyes.
"Haaay. Is this a sign, for me to give up?" Inno still smiled to Dennise. Den nods.
"Can I at least get a hug?" Inno openes his arms hoping for Den to accept it. Den hugged him back.
"That guy is so lucky, mahal mo kasi siya" he said while hugging den tightly.
"Sana alam niya yan" Den sigh.
After their hug, Inno brought Den to her car and drove her to the hospital's parking lot. And said his goodbye "So, is this goodbye?"
"Yup, thanks for the dinner btw" Den while opening her car door "And Inno, sorry" Dennise smiled.
"Its okay" Inno replied.
Den drove away to the parking lot's exit. And when dennise car can no longer be seen...
"ITS OKAY MO MUKHA MO! AAAAAAARGH! GODDAMNIT INNO!" Inno shouted.
"Huy! Mukhang tanga jan!" Gretch spanks his head.
"Bayaan mo na yun, marami pa nman fish jan eh" Kim while tapping Inno's head.
"Bakit ka ba kasi bumitaw agad? Pwede pa sana yun eh!" Vic also entered the scene.
"Haaay. Ayaw ko nman tlga eh kaso..." Inno cant finish his sentence so Marge finishes it up for him.
"Kaso yung mata niya. Parang sinasabi na patigilin ka na ganun ba?" Inno just nods.
"Okay lang yan bata, Konting inom lang at mawawala na yan" Mika trying to comfort Inno.
"The last time na magkasama tayo sa bar ay may nangyaring masama. Okay lang bang mangyari yun ulit?" Inno while giggling.
"Syempre!" all said in sync then burst into laughter.

"Hello Aly? Kumusta Macao?" Gretch upon accepting Alyssa's call.
"Okay lang nman. Nakakapagod na nga eh. Si Inno, kumusta?"
"Wag ka magkasakit jan ah. Baka mapasugod si aby ng Macao hahaha. Si Inno nman, eto basted. Nasa bar nga kami eh"
"Basted?! Why?!"
"Ayaw kasi tlga ata nung subject eh. Inno ano ba, tumi-" Gretch was cut when someone took the phone from her.
"Hello gretch?"
"Ms Alyssa! *sobs Ayaw niya po sakin. She may not say it but *hik I can see it through her eyes. May mahal siyang iba *sobs"
"Inno, wag ka ngang umiyak jan. Parang di ka lalake eh. Dont worry sa pagbalik ko we'll talk about this"
"Okay Alyssa. Pasa- " Inno was not heard anymore instead it was Gretch. "Hello ly?"
"Gretch, dont go into a fight this time okay? Jan lang nman tumatapang si Inno pag nakainom" then both laughs.
"Yes capt. Oh, pahinga ka na jan. Bye"
After the call, she felt disappointed and happy? She cant explain it, but the fact that Dennise dumped him is making her feel special. Very special.
