Bullies and breaks.

Alexis POV. The Luna had told me the truth about the packs. I couldn’t believe I had been lied to all this time. It wasn’t blood moon that destroyed blue moon. It was dark shadow. So why was I told differently. Did my parents actually know the truth or not. I could never return to that hell hole anyway, not that I would want too, so it didn’t matter to me. The alpha and Luna offered me sanctuary in their pack as long as I did an initiation ritual that would cut all ties to my old pack. I gladly accepted. She had asked me where I was from and was shocked to find out I was rouge. She mentioned I was unlike normal rouges. She was upset to learn that her original pack lands were being run and used by rouges but at the same time showed compassion and said it could remain that way, as long as they didn’t cause trouble to surrounding packs. The alpha was not very happy with this idea but let her decide. He sent warriors to the surrounding packs and informed them of the situation. If they wanted to clear the land, they could but no one really wanted the hassle. The rouges had left every other pack alone for the past few years, so as long as it remained that way everyone would leave them alone. I did the initiation the day after I woke up. Apparently, I had been in a coma for 6 weeks, after they had found me. I remained in the hospital for a week, once I was released, they gave me my own room and explained the rules. I was introduced to a woman called Chloe who oversaw all the kitchen staff. the Luna gave me a job, in the kitchen. Well, I got to choose. Kitchen or cleaner. I hated cleaning so I chose the kitchen. I had an easy job to start with, I took out trays of food and brought them back in. I had never seen so much food in my life. I had a guard with me at all times to start with, but I understood why. I really couldn’t believe how nice the Alpha and Luna were. She had two sons. Adonis her oldest son was a few years younger than me. He was always running around the pack house. I’m not sure he knew how to walk, unless he was with his parents, then there was Max their newborn baby boy. He was so adorable. There were lots of young girls in this pack. The Beta and Gamma both had daughters and they were always in the kitchen on evenings and weekends. Chloe would teach them baking, although the Luna was the better baker. She made amazing cupcakes. I had grown quite a sweet tooth since arriving here. I even got to help bake with the girls. After a while I spent all my free time in the kitchen and even watched the girls sometimes. I was required to attend a sort of school, to learn how to read and write. I didn’t mind it actually, except for the bullies. Some of the warrior kids were not happy about an ex-rouge joining the pack. They would blank me, push me and even called me names, obviously not when any adults were around. The girls were worse than the boys. I tried to just keep my head down most of the time. I stuck with the omegas whenever I could but most of them ignored me too. There was one girl I got on with. Libby. She was a warriors daughter daughter but she was outcast as well. Her father used to be a warrior before the packs merged but he was killed in the battles. Her mum joined the pack and became an omega. “Oh look, it’s the nobody from nowhere.” One girl said as I walked towards the library. I kept my head down and kept walking. “Oi Mutt, don’t ignore me.” She spat as she jogged to catch up to me. She had her goons in tow. It was Lisa. She was a warrior's daughter and the most popular girl of all the girls. As she got closer, she pushed past me and then stood in my path. I had no choice but to face her. “Please Lisa I just want to be left alone.” I said quietly There was no adults around to help. “Well, if you left then you would be alone, you don’t belong here.” She said with a grin. All her goons started to laugh at her comment. “You don’t belong in a pack, you’re a mutt. You have no family, and nobody wants you here.” She added. This hurt. What she said was partially true. I had no family. I pushed past her, tears brimming my eyes. I sprinted towards the library; Libby would be waiting for me. We always spent our spare time together in the library. I burst through the doors and that’s when I started to slow down. I wiped my eyes dry and looked around for Libby. I saw her sat at our usual table at the back, she had already grabbed some books for us to look at. As I neared the table, I saw they were baking books. Libby helped out in the kitchen, and she loved it. I liked being in the kitchen, but I preferred to be with the kids. They never judged me. They always loved being with me. I got to the table to join libby and sat down opposite her. She lifted her gaze from her book with a warm smile, it soon faded when she saw my face. “Alexis, what’s wrong. Are you ok?” She asked me concerned. “I’m fine, Libby.” I lied. I was used to the name calling but it didn’t mean it didn’t upset me. I didn’t want to go to the Luna as it would probably just make it worse. This pack was amazing, but I don’t think they would go out their way to help me. “Seriously, I can see you have been crying. Are you ok?” She pushed. “I’m fine, it’s nothing.” I told her. She gave me a stern look but dropped it. “So what do you want to read?” She asked me. “I will look at one of your books if that’s ok?” I asked. “Yeah of course. This one’s good. It’s about cakes and stuff.” Libby suggested. She handed me a book, the front cover had a picture of a rainbow cake on it, there was even rainbow frosting on top. “That cake looks cool.” I exclaimed. I began to flick through the pages slowly. It helped pass the time for me mainly. I looked up at the clock on the wall. Chores started at 5:30 and it was 4:45 now. I heard the doors into the library open and close. I tried to focus on the book in front of me, when the smell hit me again. Cherries. Where was that smell coming from? I lifted my gaze and began to look around the room, then I looked at who had just entered the library. It was the alphas son and a few of the warrior kids. I knew a few of them but not all. There was James, Andrew and Dillon. That’s when Jason entered the library too, just after them. I was still staring at the group, wondering where the smell was coming from. I remembered the day in the woods when I smelled it before. It was just the boy out then. That’s when I realised the boy was the alphas son. He was the one in the edge of the woods. He turned and looked directly at me with a smile. I shifted my gaze immediately. The last thing I wanted was attention drawn to me. He was kinda cute though. The group of warriors walked to one of the tables in the opposite back corner to us. I looked over at them all as they sat down. Jason had gone into the history section, and I wondered what they were doing in here. It wasn’t often that they came in as a group. Just then I got a shudder down my spine that made me twitch a little. I looked at Libby, she had her nose buried in the book she was reading. I continued to flick through the pages of my book, just trying to pass the time. “Alexis, can you come and see me please?” Came a link from the alpha. I jumped out of my skin to start with. I had never really been linked by the alpha and especially not been asked to see him. I became really nervous. “I need to go Libby. See you at dinner?” I asked her. She looked up from her book and nodded her head, then looked straight back to the book she was reading. I got to my feet and quietly walked out and towards the stairs. I began to climb them and soon realised just how many there was. I got to the 3rd floor, and I was out of breath. I pushed onward and reached the top after a couple of minutes. I remembered that the alphas office was to the left, I began walking towards it nervously. I started to wonder why he would want me. What had I done wrong? Why did he only want to see me? Was I being kicked out? Was I in trouble? All these questions raced through my mind and my palms became sweaty. My breathing became slightly Laboured. Once I reached the door I knocked as loud as I dared. “Come in!” Came the alphas voice. I pushed open the door and could see the alpha sat in his chair. He looked angry.
