Chapter Seven: Abducted

Exactly eight in the morning Gabriel was still driving in his car on his way to their school. Even though Gabriel knew that there's a chance that he will be late for his class he decided to continue driving at their school. All of a sudden Gabriel felt uncomfortable and he can't explain it to himself. When Gabriel arrives at their school he shrugged his shoulder when he saw the time on his watch. A playful smile plastered on his lips when he learned that he is already late for his first class. A playful smile plastered on his lips again when Gabriel saw his friend was late also. With that, Gabriel, Billy, and Derick grin together before giving a fist bump to each other.

"Come on, dude, I thought you will be early today?" Billy said to Gabriel with a playful smile.

"Hahaha!" Gabriel laughs before answering his best friend, Billy. "I got a hangover, dude, that's why I woke up late."

"I told you to stop drinking yesterday evening, but you didn't listen to me, dude!" Derick said like a mother who was scolding his son.

Instead of answering, Gabriel just shrugged his shoulder while the playful smile is on his lips once again. Even though they know that they already late for their class they still decided to go to their room with confidence. When Gabriel and his friend arrived in their classroom he knocked on the door then open it, with a smile he greets his teacher with full of respect.

"Good morning, Sir!" Gabriel said with a smile on his lips.

"Why are you late, Mr. Hudson?" Mr. Montante asks Gabriel, their professor in Science.

"I'm sorry, Sir. It won't happen again," Gabriel said with respect.

Instead of answering him, Mr. Montante just nods his head like telling them to sit on their chair. With respect, Gabriel and his friends don't waste time and sit in their chairs. While Serapina just smiles a little at Gabriel since she didn't expect him to be respectful towards their professor. Serapina smile again when she saw Gabriel was looking at her. Then, Serapina saw the shock on Gabriel's friend when they saw that their friend was smiling at her. That's why Serapina can't help but feel confused because of their reaction.

"What's their problem?" Serapina asks Gabriel about his best friends.

"Don't mind them," Gabriel said to Serapina.

Serapina was going to answer him when she notices that their professor was already in front of her. With that, Serapina feels shy all of a sudden since she didn't expect that her professor was gonna caught her while talking to Gabriel. For that reason, Serapina feels that her face was red like a tomato.

"Are you listening to my discussion, Miss Hemmingway?" Mr. Montante asks Serapina.

"Y-Yes, Sir!" Serapina said while stuttering.

"Really? Then, why are you talking to Mr. Hudson while I'm discussing here in front?"

Serapina got silent for a moment since she doesn't know how to answer her professor. With that, she looks for Gabriel's direction like she wants him to help her to answer their professor's question. Gabriel just nods his head like he understands what she's telling about. For that reason, Serapina just took a deep breath before looking at his professor's eyes. While Gabriel was prepared himself to answer their professor to help Serapina.

"It's my fault, Sir. I just want to greet her a good morning," Gabriel said to his professor, Mr. Montante.

Instead of answering him, Mr. Montante continues his discussion while Serapina said thank you to Gabriel in secret. Many hours have passed when their class was ended and suddenly Gabriel walks towards Serapina causing his friends to get confused, again. While Serapina was smiling ear to ear to Gabriel who was walking in her direction. Just like in the old-time her classmates especially girls were talking about her. Instead of being mean to them, Serapina chose to ignore them since she doesn't want to stress herself because of what she heard about her being lovey-dovey to Gabriel.

"Serapina, are you going for lunch?" Gabriel asks while smiling at Serapina.

Serapina smiles sweetly before answering Gabriel. "Yes, why?"

"You can join us for lunch if you want."

"Really? Are you sure it is okay with your friends?" Serapina asks while creasing her eyebrows.

Gabriel nods repeatedly before answering Serapina. But, Billy was the one who was answered Serapina's question. "It's okay to us. You can join with as together with your best friend," Billy said with a wide smile.

"Wow! Thank you, by the way, I'm Serapina Hemmingway, and this my best friend, Amor."

"Nice to meet you, Serapina, Billy is the name."

"And, I'm Derick."

With that, Serapina just smiles at them before looking at her best friend Amor. Like she's telling to Amor that it's gonna be okay. After introducing themselves to each other, they decided to leave their classroom for their lunch. Even though Amor was uncomfortable because of the looks of the other students to her and her best friend, Serapina, she decided to ignore them and continue her walking.

"Omg! I can't believe what I saw!"

"Is it true, that weak girl and her annoying best friend were together with Gabriel and his friend?"

"Is it me or I feel that Serapina was different from the past?"

Instead of looking at the girls who were talking about her, Serapina continues walking full of confidence. While Amor was embarrassed because she didn't expect that there's some girl who was looking at them with disgust plastered on their faces.

"Are you okay, Amor?" Serapina asks Amor with concern.

"I'm okay, Serapina. It's just that I'm not used to it."

Serapina creased her eyebrows before asking her best friend, Amor. "What do you mean, Amor?"

"What I mean is, I'm not used to all of this, hanging out with Gabriel together with his friends."

Serapina just smiles at Amor because of what she heard. The truth is this is her first time also hanging out with friends since when Serapina is still an angel she's always busy fighting with those monsters who are invading their kingdom. But, what Serapina didn't expect is she was betrayed by the person who she thinks her companion until the end.

"Don't worry, Amor. This is my first time also, you know hanging out with friends," Serapina said while smiling at Amor.

Minutes have passed when they arrived at the parking lot and once again, some students especially girls are looking at them.

"Serapina, Amor you can ride in my car," Gabriel said while smiling.

"Okay!" Serapina answered with a smile.

While they're on their way to the mall, Amor keeps silent the whole ride since she's uncomfortable with Gabriel's presence. While Serapina was talking to Gabriel like they are close to each other even though they know that he's known for being merciless. When they arrived at the mall, Serapina felt that someone was following them causing her to get confused. With that Serapina cling her hand to Gabriel's arm like they are in a relationship to ask him about the person who was following them. While Amor got confused all of a sudden because she saw Serapina's hands in Gabriel's arms.

"Gabriel, did you feel it too?" Serapina seriously asks Gabriel.

Gabriel took a deep breath before answering Serapina. "So, you notice it too."

"Yes! They're following us starting from school to this mall," Serapina said.

"Don't worry I'll promise that I will protect you and your best friend, Amor."

Instead of answering him Serapina just nods her head then she stops holding Gabriel's arm. Since Serapina notices that her best friend Amor was confused because of their conversation. Serapina walks towards Amor then hold her hand while they are walking. Then, Billy and Derick showed up all of a sudden while sweat is all over their handsome face causing them to get confused.

"Hey, are both of you okay?" Serapina asks in confused.

Billy just grins at Serapina before answering her. "Don't worry about us, we just cleaned some mess!"

"Yeah, don't mind us, Serapina. All we have to do is to enjoy ourselves in lunch," Derick said while drying his sweat on his forehead.

"Okay! So, what are we waiting for? Let's have our lunch!" Serapina said while smiling.

So, they didn't waste some time and go to the restaurant. After their wonderful lunch, they decided to watch some horror movies that are showing in the cinema. In the middle of their watching, Serapina felt that she need to pee, so she tells Amor that she was going to the comfort room.

"Hey, I'm going to the comfort room for a bit," Serapina said in a soft voice.

"Okay, I'm waiting," Amor answered Serapina while looking at the big screen.

With that, Serapina went to the comfort room in a hurry since she needs to pee. After peeing, Serapina decided to leave but there's someone who was suddenly showed up causing her to get confused.

"What do you want?" Serapina asks coldly.

"Hahaha!" The mysterious person laughed real hard before answering Serapina. "You don't need to know! Just come with us if you don't want to hurt yourself, lady!"

Serapina just raises her left eyebrows before answering the mysterious person who was in front of her. "Why would I? Serapina said coldly.

Instead of being afraid of Serapina the mysterious person just laughed at her like she's telling a joke to them. With that, Serapina felt mad since she felt that the mysterious person was underestimating her. So that, Serapina ready herself to fight the mysterious person but she was shocked when unexpectedly someone covered her mouth up to her nose. In just a blink of an eye, Serapina felt sleepy while the mysterious person was grinning from ear to ear.

"Good job! What are we waiting for? Let's bring her to our boss," the mysterious person said to his accomplice.

After that, they left the place while carrying the unconscious Serapina. Even though the mysterious person saw that some people are looking at them he chose to ignore them while still holding Serapina in his arms. When they arrived at the parking lot they leave the place while a grin was written on their face because their plan was successful. On the other side, Amor feels uncomfortable since Serapina didn't come back yet. So, Amor decided to look for Serapina in the comfort room but she was shocked because she can't find her best friend. And the only thing she finds was a small piece of paper with a letter on it telling that they abduct her best friend, Serapina. After reading the letter Amor didn't waste time and look for Gabriel to deliver the message of one of his enemies.

"G-Gabriel, she's gone," Amor said while stuttering.

"What do you mean?" Gabriel asks Amor.

Amor just wipes her tears before answering him. "What I mean is, Serapina was abducted by your enemy!"

After hearing what Amor said Gabriel felt scared all of a sudden. Since he knows how his enemy plays. With that, Gabriel read the letter causing him to feel mad because he didn't expect that his enemy will abduct Serapina.

"Billy, let's go to their base! And, Derick, accompany Amor until she went home," Gabriel said with a serious manner.

 "Sure! I follow you after I take her home," Derick said to Gabriel.

Then, Gabriel and Billy leave the cinema while Amor and Derick decided to finish the movie since it's only five minutes until the movie ends. Minutes have passed when Derick takes Amor in her home and after that, he followed his two best friends to help them to rescue Serapina.
