Chapter Six: Rumors

One month has passed and Serapina can tell that she's enjoying her life as a normal person. Even though there are still some bullies around her she preferred to avoid them to have a peaceful school life. Exactly eight in the morning Serapina saw Gabriel walking in her direction causing her to get confused since she didn't know that Gabriel was already discharged from the hospital. But, there's a part in her heart that she's happy since Gabriel was out of danger. And, Serapina can't explain why she felt happy whenever she saw Gabriel's smile. It feels like Serapina's problem was melt away whenever she saw Gabriel smiling at her.

"Hey, good morning, Serapina," Gabriel said while smiling.

"G-Good morning, Gabriel," Serapina said while stammering in front of him.

"I know you're confused since I'm talking to you right now but I just want to thank you for saving my life," Gabriel explained.

Serapina got silent for a moment since she didn't expect that Gabriel was going to thank her for saving him. "It's okay. I'm glad that you are okay now."

"Again, thank you for saving me. So, I have to go now," Gabriel said while turning red in front of Serapina.

Instead of answering him, Serapina chose to smile in front of him. Then, Serapina bid goodbye to Gabriel while waving her right hand. When Gabriel was gone in front of her, Serapina saw that some of the students in the cafeteria were looking at her with disgust on their faces. With that, Serapina knew the reason why are they looking at her. Since Serapina knew Gabriel was one of the Campus Prince in their school. Even though, Serapina knew the reason she still chose to ask her best friend Amor who was looking at her with a surprised look.

"Hey, Amor, what is their problem?" Serapina asks while creasing her eyebrows.

Amor took a deep breath before answering Serapina. "Maybe because of Gabriel? You know Gabriel is famous in our school that is why all eyes are on you when he was talking at you."

"Famous? He's famous? Are you sure, Amor?" Serapina still asks even though she knows it already.

With a wide eye, Amor looks at Serapina before asking her. "Omg! Don't tell me you didn't know who Gabriel is?"

"What? Of course, I know him! He's our classmate right?" Serapina mumbled.

"I know he's our classmate but aside from that, he's the leader of Alpha Gang who was known for being merciless to their opponent."

Serapina got silent for a moment because of what she heard about Gabriel's identity. She didn't expect that Gabriel has a Gang which is she can't help but feel amazed about his identity. But, Serapina feels confused when she saw Amor look scared while talking about the identity of Gabriel as a leader of a Gang. So, Serapina chose to ask Amor since her best friend looks scared while explaining Gabriel's identity. The truth is, Serapina can't explain why she didn't frighten even though she learned about Gabriel's other identity.

"Amor, why did you look scared while talking about Gabriel's identity as the leader of Alpha Gang?"

"Omg! Stop it, Serapina! Let's not talk about him as the leader of Alpha Gang! You didn't know how merciless he is!" Amor said with a frightened look.

"Come on, Amor there's nothing wrong with our conversation. And look, Gabriel is harmless so you don't need to be scared at him," Serapina said to Amor.

Amor just trembles with fear because of what she heard from Serapina. For that reason, Amor looks at her surroundings and she was shocked because she saw Gabriel looking in their direction. With that, Amor looks pale while looking in Gabriel's direction together with his friends. Amor didn't know what to do so she avoids her gaze at Gabriel who was still looking in their direction. Then, Amor felt that she was going to pee all of a sudden because of a cold gaze Gabriel in their direction. It feels like, Amor was paranoid and think herself bleeding to death because of Gabriel.

"Serapina, I think we need to go now!" Amor said firmly.

"Why? Look, I'm not finished with my food. And, you look pale. Tell me, are you okay?"

"I'm okay!"

"No! You're not okay! Come on, tell me the reason why you suddenly look scared?"

Amor holds Serapina's hand before answering her. "He's looking at us! So, we need to go now!" Amor said in a terror.

"Looking at us? Who is looking at us?"

"It's Gabriel! He's looking at us especially at you!"

With that, Serapina looks in Gabriel's direction and wave her hand while smiling at him. Then, Amor was shocked because of Serapina's attitude towards Gabriel. Amor was shocked again when she saw Gabriel waving his hand also to Serapina. Then, Amor can't help herself but feel confused since she saw that the cold gaze of Gabriel was softened when he was looking at her best friend, Serapina.

"Come on, Amor! Don't be afraid of him. Look he's waving at me while smiling," Serapina said while still waving her hand at Gabriel.

Instead of answering, Amor chose to keep quiet while looking at her best friend. After that, they leave the cafeteria while the other students still gazing in their direction. When they got outside the cafeteria Serapina felt that someone was following them. Since Serapina wants to know who was following them especially in her. She told Amor to go first to their classroom while she decided to confront the person who was following them.

"Amor, go first to our classroom. I have something need to settle. After this, I follow you to our classroom," Serapina said seriously.

Amor just nods her head before bid goodbye to Serapina. While Serapina chose to walk around to make sure that the person she doesn't know was still following her. And she's right because there's someone who still following her. To confront the person who was still following her, Serapina chose to go to the gym since she doesn't want others to spread rumors about her. When Serapina was already at the back of the gym she stopped her walking then she talks coldly.

"Tell me your reason! Why are you following me?" Serapina asks coldly.

"So you know that I'm following you!"

"Yes! So, answer my question!"

Serapina creased her forehead when she heard that the person who was following her is laughing real hard. With that, Serapina got furious because she felt that the person who was following her was not serious about their conversation. Since Serapina was furious she looked at the person who was following her and she's surprised when she saw who is it.

"You looked shocked when you saw me! Why? Are you afraid of me?"

"Hahaha!" Serapina laughed real hard before answering the person in front of her. "Me? Afraid of you? Come on, I'm not scared of you! I was just shocked because I didn't expect that you will follow me like a dog!"

"What did you say!? Are you telling me that I'm a dog? You're just my student so respect me!" Miss Abby said to Serapina.

"Respect? Did you respect me, Ma'am? I learned the truth, Ma'am! You're the mastermind why Marife and her group threw an egg at me! Tell me, why are you doing this to me?"

Miss Abby got silent for a moment since she didn't expect that Serapina will learn the truth about what happened to the parking lot. "Stop accusing me, Miss Hemmingway! You don't have any evidence!"

Instead of being afraid, Serapina just smiles in front of Miss Abby then shows her phone in front of her professor. Then, Serapina plays something on her phone causing Miss Abby to be surprised. "Who says that I don't have evidence towards you, Miss Abby. I recorded all the conversations between me and Marife about you being the mastermind of bullying me!"

Miss Abby was trying to slap Serapina when there's someone who holds her hand. With a furious look, Miss Abby turns her gaze to that person and she was shocked when she know who is it. All of a sudden, she got scared because of the person in front of her who was looking mad at her. While Serapina was a little bit surprised since she doesn't know that Gabriel was going to protect her.

"G-Gabriel is that you?" Miss Abby said while stuttering.

"Yes! Got a problem?" Gabriel said coldly.

"N-No. B-By the way, I have to go," Miss Abby said with a scared look.

Serapina got confused all of a sudden because of Miss Abby's behavior towards Gabriel. It feels like Miss Abby was scared of Gabriel even though he was a kind person.

"Thank you, Gabriel. I didn't expect that you show up here!" Serapina said to Gabriel.

"You're always welcome, Serapina," Gabriel said while smiling.

"So, what are you waiting for? Let's go to our classroom!" Serapina said to Gabriel.

After that, Serapina holds his arm and continues walking. While Gabriel was a little bit flustered since he didn't expect that she will hold his hand. All of a sudden Gabriel felt that his heart was gonna explode because of the touch of Serapina in his hand. Instead of being afraid of Gabriel, she felt that whenever he's near to him Serapina feels safe with him. When Serapina and Gabriel are walking in the hallway of their department she heard some rumors about her being a flirt.

"Omg! I can't believe it, she has the guts to hold his hand!"

"Are they in a relationship?"

"I heard that she saved him from his enemy."

Instead of being mad Serapina just smile at the girls who were talking badly about her then she raises her eyebrows in front them. While Gabriel glare at the girls who were talking about them. In a blink of an eye, the girls are running inside their classroom since they are afraid that Gabriel was going to punish them.

On the other side, there's a group of people who were talking seriously about how they ruin the leader of the Alpha Gang. Then suddenly one of them talks about the girl who was always with him.

"I know how to hurt him, Boss!" Jack said, the right hand of their boss.

"How? Tell us what you plan, Jack?" Ten said, the leader of his gang, Beta Gang.

"What if we abduct her then we blackmailed him that if he didn't come to us we will kill the girl who was always with him?" Jack said.

Ten got silent for a moment while thinking if Jack's plan was perfect. After a minute of thinking, Ten decided to proceed with their plan for abducting the girl in Gabriel's life.

"Okay, we will do your plan, Jack. We will abduct her later after she finished her class. And make sure no one will saw you Jack while abducting her! Is it clear?" Ten said seriously.

"Yes, boss! I will assure you that my plan is successful," Jack said before leaving.

After that, Ten was all alone while his thought is smearing on his mind. It just that, he can't forget the pain he felt because of Gabriel. So, to hurt Gabriel, his group planned to abduct the girl who was always beside him. Ten was going to leave the area when he felt that there's someone who was looking at his movement.

"Who are you? Just come out where you are hiding cause i'm not thinking twice to kill you if you're my enemy!" Ten said while fuming mad.

"Hahaha!" The mysterious person laughs before answering him. "Chill! I'm not here to fight you. I'm here because I want to join forces with you to take down the Alpha Gang on their throne. So, what do you think?"

"What makes you think that I accept your proposal?"

"You will accept my proposal because both of us are mad at him. Besides, if our groups join forces I will assure you that we will win against his gang."

"Fine! Just make sure that you will not betray me because I will not hesitate to kill all of your members including you!" Ten said with fierce eyes.

The mysterious person took a deep breath before answering Ten, the leader of Beta Gang. "I will not betray you. Since I know how it felts being betrayed by someone who you think your companion until the end."

With that, the mysterious person bid goodbye to Ten before leaving the place. While Ten was a bit curious since he felt sadness in the voice of the mysterious person. After that, Ten decided to leave the place while holding his fist because he can't wait to see the begging face of Gabriel while they hurting the girl who always with the person he loathes the most.

"Let's see what would you do if I hurt the most important girl in your life!" Ten said to himself while smiling devilishly.
