Chapter 2

Benjamin ******* I got home through the back door only to find all the workers all over the place. "Uhhh mom" I muttered to myself. I am sure Justin finally told her I would be coming back today. Well, I can blame him, nobody can win against mom. I hurried into my room to avoid anyone noticing me, because I wanted to take a quick nap before any of these shinanigas. I went into the room, and it was all in place. Everyone knows I am allergic to dust, so I guess that is why they paid special attention to my room. Just as I kept my bags in place, I heard the sound of the door opening. I turned to see a figure, clearly not expecting company. The most beautiful redhead I've ever seen entered the room looking all tired. Even though her hair was messy, she still looked damn gorgeous. "Uhhhh, I hate entitled rich brats," she sighed, slumping onto the bed. "Who are you talking about?" I asked, making my presence known. "What in the flying f**k!!!!!" she screamed, covering her mouth in shock. Gosh, her foul language. "Who are you?" I questioned. "What!! No, who are you?" She shot back. Confusion filled the room until a female voice echoed from the passage. "I am..." Before I could finish, she grabbed my arm and practically tossed me into the washroom. "Shhhhh," she hushed me, putting a finger to their lips. "I'm trying to save your job, probably your life too, so just stay quiet until I tell you otherwise," she said. "Why don't you worry about your job little kit", I thought to myself. "OK," I replied, nodding, still bewildered by the unexpected turn of events. I wanted to tell her who I was, but she is cute, and I also wanted to see what she does next. I heaved a sigh of relief as she ran to the washroom to get me out. "Who are you? What are you doing here? How did you get in here?" She scolded while dusting the bed. Doesn't she know I'm allergic to dust? Well, she wouldn't know because she didn't know who I was. "Don't you know that you would have been in huge trouble if you had run into someone that wasn't me?" she continued. I tried not to sneeze because I was going to give it away, but in the end I couldn't help but tear up. "No, no, no, don't cry. I promise I won't tell anyone, OK?" she said, tapping my head repeatedly. "What the hell, I'm not a dog", I thought to myself. I wanted to pull away but it felt good. It's been like forever everyone treated me this well. They were either scared or they wanted to be on my good side, hence they are polite. I watched as she straightened out the sheets and blankets. She was perfect, her name was perfect too. "I'm done; let's go," she said, which brought me back to reality. As we approached the back door, I remained silent. "Here we are," she said, opening the door. "This door leads to the poolside; you can mingle around with other workers and go back to your post when no one's watching," they explained. "OK, thank you... Hazel," I said "You're welcome." I turned around and started walking to the poolside, still processing the whirlwind of events. That's when I heard Hazel's voice again. "WHAT IS YOUR NAME!" she screamed. I halted and turned around. "Ben," I said, giving her a big smile. "See you around, Ben," she said as I walked away. Hazel ***** When I got into the kitchen, I pulled Rosie to the side. "Do you know any worker named Ben" I asked her. "Ben? I don't think Ben works here" she said, looking at me suspiciously. "I met him just now. I think he likes me too." "Hezel, how can you like a fellow worker?" "Thought we agreed to share the Beckett brothers" she said, smiling shyly. "I'm no longer interested." "Why? i mean you've had the longest crush on Alex" she said. "I know right, but not anymore. When he came home last year, I went to meet him, but he was so rude to me." "I asked if he remembered me and he asked why he should remember someone like me." " He also called me ugly, and asked why my hair was all over the place," I said, boiling with anger. "What the hell! After you saved his life, you should just have left him to die." "Shhhh" I motioned to her to shut up. "what? After all you did for him, he doesn't even remember you." "He is such a jerk. How can someone be this ungrateful? Anyway, I'm lucky that Benjamin is gentle," she said. "Rosie, you haven't even seen Benjamin." "Well, I've seen pictures." Rosie, you are crushing on someone who doesn't know you exist "Well, my job is to make him know me" she fired back. "Second young master has arrived, madam. Madam Theressa said. "Bye Hazel" Rosie said as she hurried to the pools. "Wait...." before i could finish my statement, she was gone. "Uhhhh. What do I do with her?
