Evan's (POV)
My vision was impaired due to the smoke billowing around us an I couldn't see Luce though I knew she was heading towards me, the alpha then took his opportunity to get up from underneath me and tackle me to the ground scraping my back against a rock, pain coursed through me as the alpha the bit down on my neck causing my vision to blur, I reached out to my warriors through the link but got no response and as I couldn't see through the smoke I was feeling rather alone. The last thing I remembered before I blacked out was a scream and feeling light.
