A Bona fide Jadite

I really want to explore this maze like institution like Jade, because this campus is really big and there are still confusing places with lots of hidden buildings and confusing names.It is true the school has a map but most times students have their inside jokes and names that refer to specific places which makes it really difficult for fresher's like me to locate.......it kind of amazes me how other fresher's like are able to navigate their way easily while someone like me has to wander round the campus.

As part of the special privilege of being a transfer student, I was able to complete my registration online it was so easy quick and stress free, I was even asked to check back in the evening to complete my accommodation procedures.

I call my mom to inform her about the process of my registration,I have also being in touch with my dad.....its just that he doesn't have the luxury of time for back to back gossiping with me due to the nature of his work.as for that demon brother of mine, he has refused to call me and I am so sure that he must be so happy am not at home, he can bring his noisy friends home and wreck havoc in the house without out anyone interrupting them back to back

I make a mental note to myself to explore this institution, make friends so that I can expand my connection base and get familiar with people around here and most especially the code names so that I will stop wandering round the campus aimlessly.

I am still staying at Jade's guest house, starting to get tired of this hotel room......its not that their lacking in their services, but am always faced with a recurring problem of what to wear and I can't go through the stress of arranging my stuffs in the closet and start to pack and rearrange my box when it is time to move into the dormitory so am patiently waiting for my accommodation to be processed

"its just till evening"I thought.....its worth the wait

I have just been doing random stuffs in this school because we are still in the registration week and lectures has not commenced at all ,next week is the fresher's week before lecture starts fully.it is the same for Claire stone college, new students are still registering so I can't really do much I can only complete my registration and get familiar with my course outline.

I know I need to put in my all,because school is stressful with running just a degree program .....not to talk of running two I need to cover grounds so that when lecture starts fully it will be more like revision for me.

zelicious cafe has taken the place of ordering room service in the hotel in my heart, I prefer to go through the stress of walking over to the location than settle for the hotel room service.it was just earlier this afternoon that I found out that they do deliveries.......this is super duper easy for me they have not just impressed me with their services, they have won me over.

I order something light for dinner from zelicious, after taking my dinner I logged in to my academic portal to view the progress of my accommodation process,I have been seeing different posts on jade community about how students have started getting accommodation so I had no doubt what's over that I won't get accommodation easily.

looks like everything is going against me, all activities on my accommodation portal has been suspended till further notice, so they have ruined my plan of settling in quick like every other student.Every since I got to this school, I have been blown away by how wonderful their system is only for them to rub it in my face my halting all activities concerning my accommodation.

its not only annoying but destabilizing, I am a transfer student and not even just an ordinary transfer student, a foreign student so if any student is going to get accommodation first, I feel it should be the ones that doesn't reside in myrtle circle.I know am a spender, but I love to spend on things that I feel is worth it....my stay in this hotel will expire tomorrow and I feel I won't have to renew it since I will be getting accommodation soon but now,change of plans.

I call my mom to inform her about the latest development, she told me not to worry about it and she made the really very serious situation I thought I had seem trivial,she also told me that she will arrange to extend my stay in the hotel and that I should enjoy the last days I had to stay alone.....she also inquired about my therapist and I was totally honest with her I didn't attend my scheduled appointment because it was on my orientation day and I got carried away with my jade tour but I promised to do so when I settle in fully.

my mom asked me to take my mind off the whole accommodation issue but I no matter how hard I tried, I can't seem to do that so I make up my mind to submit my accommodation processing slip manually to Jades student affairs division the following day.

I wake up really early today to get ready to visit jades students affairs division, I got to the senate building really early, I was directed by the security personnel in front of the eight floor edifice to go upstairs.as far as I am concerned, the design plan and layout of a schools senate building is one of the most important factor I consider in judging the schools overall perception of beauty.

The towering senate building of Jades university is not an exception in this great citadel of learning's iconic buildings, it is one of the top three best building for me among other breathtaking buildings I have seen ever since I came across this institution both directly and indirectly. in my own opinion I think jade deserves the spot of the pearl of the northern part of myrtle circle.....if not the whole country.one thing I just hope is that the functionality of this building supercedes the overall outlook otherwise I will be so disappointed.

I make my way to the security personnel that addressed me earlier, asking him what time they will start allowing people into the senate building and he replies me that people won't be allowed into the building until an hour later

"what's the use of hanging around this beautiful building when my tummy is crying desperately to me beautified with different types of taste bud worthy dishes" I thought

I make my way to foodies and spice, my favorite restaurant so far in jade to have my breakfast ,I take my time to savour the dishes and when I finish I decide to relax a bit at the restaurant since there is no rush.I was scanning around the restaurant to take in the beauty because every single time I come here I can't seem to get enough of admiring the layout and setting of the restaurant when my eyes fell on a really familiar figure.

The sterling gray eyes, athletic build, sculpted face, and olive skin tone.................he is dressed in a lazy and casual but at the same time picture perfect style. His brown hair is styled like a just got out of bed style and not sleeked to the back like the last time I saw him but you can see he put in some effort because of the way his curls are I must confess he looks super duper hot in the black baggy round neck top he has on and knickerbuggers with multiple pockets,Its the valet from the other day that picked me up from the Air port

"This guy has an exclusive taste for just an ordinary valet, only God knows the number of per time jobs he does to keep his wardrobe and belly up to date considering the fact that he is in such an expensive restaurant"I said to myself

I am not being a stalker, but I still scan around to see where the hot valet is seated in the restaurant but there was no trace of him ,the sound of my schedule buzzing brings my stalking mission to a halt and I quickly make my way out of the restaurant back to the senate building, it takes me quite a while to navigate my way back there but I finally did.....I just wanted to get to the senate building early so that the won't have any choice but to attend to me.

On getting to the senate building, I get directed to the student affairs department and I table my complaint before them, they ask me to hang around for a while that in no time I will be attended to.....mind you I was told that I would be attended to in no time but it turned into minutes and hours I was just hanging around the senate building like an homeless teenager.

I was getting really irritated, but I was kept company by a blonde with olive skin tone she has hazel brown eyes with a tall and slender body, I feel like she is not the type that talks much but she was able to pacify me to stay clam that in no time they will attend to us, she has the same accommodation problem like me but unlike me she is not a sophomore but a fresher, she introduced herself to me as Arianna Norlan before she leaves to get something done

I was still pacing round the student affairs division when I saw the hot looking valet pass by with the creep that was staring at me the other day like he has never seen a lady before....I roll my eyes on remembering that.I quickly averted my face from making eye contact with the valet, I don't know how the hell to make a conversation after snapping at someone who helped me out without knowing me.

finally the two guys pass by and I sighed....am not in the best of mood to deal with anyone right now I don't know why doing something as basic as refreshing the activity on my jade portal is taking forever.

"are you sure that they have not forgotten you outside"the stupid voice in my head spoke up

come to think of it.....that's actually very possible, because I feel if they couldn't rectify my problem they could have just dismissed me telling me to come back later, so I make my way back to the office I entered earlier telling the secretary I was asked to check back later

I muster the sweetest smile I could while I was walking in am actually really angry but I don't want to seem rude.I met the man that I complained to earlier trying to finalize some documents on this take before he raised his head to look at me

"you must be Aurora Winston.....the lady that came earlier right?"the elderly man in his mid forties inquired

"yes sir I am.....am here to check back on the progress of the complaint I submitted earlier"I replied the man respectfully

"am really sorry for making you wait for so long.......you are one of the lucky girls that was scheduled for accommodation into the new school completed accommodation, its an apartment close to the dormitory"he answered

okay.....I don't think I can really wrap my head around what he is trying to imply but I choose to continue listening instead

"you accommodation issue is resolved and you are among the Emeralds, the renovation of the apartment is completed and you can resume any time from tomorrow"the man continue

what ever long story the man just told the main thing am concerned with is that I can move into my accommodation tomorrow.

"here is your card.....the apartment is a keyless one I suggest you keep it really safe to prevent unnecessary inconveniences "he said handing the card over to me

I accept the card happily, I hope this apartment will be worth the wait....even if its not I can always do something about turning it around as per my personal preference....with this, I feel like a legit jadeite.
