Chapter 9

It’s been a month now since our trip to Poland and everything is back to normal. I mean the day after that special night was a bit weird because of Jennifer but after that we all brushed it to the side and enjoyed the trip. Of course Ryan spent the whole trip teasing me about getting with Donnie and about how cute we would look together! He’s right but clearly Donnie disagrees. Ryan pulled me aside one day and we spent atleast and hour discussing everything, and I was honest with him about liking Donnie and he told me I should’ve said something to Donnie, but what difference would it have made? Donnie seemed to have his mind made up. As for Jennifer, well she’s also on team Dolla, just to be clear that’s Donnie and Bella together. After we laughed about her screaming ‘his your cousin’ in the club in front of people, she also like Ryan agreed that Donnie and I would be cute together. So clearly everyone can see how cute we are but Donnie ! She really only joined team Dolla, when she realized if Donnie and I were to end up together then we would technically be family. Either way, the rest of the Poland trip was absolutely amazing, we travelled around the country visiting the various cities but Warsaw and Krakow are definitely my favorite, I’ll definitely be returning soon for another visit. Anyways back to reality! Today it’s a Friday which can only mean one thing …..ITS TIME TO PARTYYY! There’s a big semester party tonight, and it’s exactly what I need to de stress after all the hard word I’ve been doing, just this week I’ve written 3 tests so I’m ready to get my twerk on. 

As usual we’re getting ready at Jennifer’s place because I don’t want people at my place. I’m very picky about who I let into my house, besides Rose and her friends aren’t really my friends more like Jennifer’s so they’re definitely not coming to my place. I stop at spar on the way, to buy some alcohol when I get a call, I look at see it’s Donnie 

“Hey what’s up?” I say while looking at the shelves 

“Yeah, I’m coming to Jennifer’s later are you going to get ready there?” 

“Yeah I’m actually buying alcohol right now, think I might just get vodka and wine.” I say while grabbing some Absolut 

“That’s great, thanks baby girl. Do you want me to bring anything?”  I blush when he calls me that 

“Actually I forgot to call you but can you bring your black leather jacket for me to wear?”

“Only for you, anyone else would’ve got a no straight” I laugh loudly 

“Oh shut up. Okay I’ll see you later then, bye bye “ 

“Bye” 

I mean he even sounds hot on the phone, if it isn’t clear my feelings for Donnie have only grown since they awoke a month ago, I know I’m stupid! But how could I not with his caring, charming sexy self. I shake my head, he rejected me! Okay Bella, nothings ever going to happen with you and Donnie. I grab everything I came for, with some extra packets of chips because I’m hungry and I know Jennifer doesn’t have snacks. I quickly run for the bus once I’ve finished paying for very thing, and make it just on time. 

I enter Jennifer’s apartment and hear the shower running, she must be showering. I start to unpack everything onto the kitchen table, grab my make up bag and begin the process of glamming up. I really do love make up, like maybe in another life I was a make up artist or something. I’m not saying I’m great or anything but for someone who taught her self everything, I think I’m pretty decent. I connect my phone to the speakers and start playing some good music 

“b***h is that you?” Jennifer screams form the bathroom 

“Well duh, who else has keys?” I laugh at her 

“Point taken, I’m almost done I’ll see you soon” she screams from the shower 

“Coolio” I continue with my make up, I’m trying to finish before everyone shows up because I don’t like having my make up bag open with people I don’t trust around. Make up is expensive, and I’m not letting anyone just steal my stuff and besides that I hate it when people use my make up, besides Jennifer of course and I hate saying no cause I look like a b***h, so I’d rather they just don’t see anything. Tonight I’m wearing a tight black leather dress that wraps around my body like second skin, it stops mid thigh and it has cuts on the right side up to my hip, so I obviously can’t wear any underwear. 

Jennifer turns off the water, and 5 minutes later she steps out the bathroom 

“Can you hurry please, I need to pack away my make up bag” I say to her 

“Yes mom, I’m hurrying I know how you get with your make up” 

1 hour later, we’re both finished with our make up, just in time to hear the doorbell ring, I run to open it considering Jennifer is still in a towel, I open the door and find Rose, Alison and Eve 

“Hey ladies, welcome” I open the door wider for them 

“Thanks for inviting us guys, pres with you guys is always fun” says Alison as she sits on the couch 

“Woah stop right there, everyone needs to take a shot to get the night started” I saw while taking the shot glasses out of the cupboard 

“Come on, just one. Then you can drink wine” I say to them 

One by one they take their vodka shot and then pour themselves a glass of wine 

I really hate to complain but how do you show up to someone else’s house for pres and come empty handed? 

I’m not saying bring expensive alcohol but surely they could’ve brought a bottle of wine, but maybe it’s just me but my mother raised me to never show up empty handed to someone’s house. 

We all sit in the living room and just have fat chats about university classes, since they’re a year behind Jennifer and I, we usually give them notes we had. 

We were dancing and singing along to the music when I heard the door bell ring 

“It must be the guys” I say as I walk towards the door. 

I open the door and see Donnie, David and Jeff all dressed up and looking absolutely good looking well Donnie looked the best but maybe I’m being biased 

“Hey guys, come in” I say as I widen the door for them to come in 

I hug them as the come but maybe I’m crazy but Donnie held on a bit longer. 

“Okay drinks are in the counter, the girls are in the living room chilling so let’s go take your entry shots then join them” I say walking towards the kitchen. 

“Yeah Donnie told us you bought alcohol but we couldn’t show up empty handed” Jeff says while holding up 2 bottles of tequila, while David holds the lemons 

“Aww you guys are the best! Let’s get this party started” I say while filling the shot glasses with vodka and then tequila…yes I plan on dying tonight. 

“Girls! Come into the kitchen, the guys are here and they brought alcohol” I scream for them to hear 

I hear them scream and start giggling, soon they enter the kitchen and start greeting the guys, I try to act cool but I keep my eye on them when the hug Donnie, excuse me for being jealous. 

We all stay in the kitchen so we can continue taking more shots while talking about the plans for tonight. My legs get tired of standing so I lift myself onto the counter top so I can sit comfortably, before I can close my legs to cover my coochie, Donnie slides and stands between my legs. I sit frozen for a second before I look at Jennifer to see she’s just as shocked as I am, but I play it cool and lean forward slinging my arms over his shoulders while singing along to the song playing from the tv. I think everyone was a little shocked by what was happening because it felt like everyone was suddenly interested in something in my direction, I realized none of them know about what happened in Poland…oooh so secretive.

“Okay guys it’s almost midnight, let’s start getting ready to move” Donnie says to everyone. 

The girls start shuffling out to go touch up their make up before we leave and Jeff and David move towards the living room to change up the music. I hadn’t realized this I had my head down looking at my phone, my attention changed when Donnie turned around and was now facing me

“How are you?” He asks softly 

I look up and smile 

“I’m good, and you” 

“Never been better” he says while looking into my eyes, it was like time was frozen and he was all I could focus on, those beautiful eyes. 

It felt like forever but was probably just 2 minutes of us just staring at each other before I looked away to hide my blushing cheeks 

“Uh we should get going, let’s order the cabs” I say once I’m sure my cheeks aren’t red anymore 

“Okay but order 2, Jennifer will ride with Rose and them, and you can ride with us” he says while opening the Uber app. 

I bite my lip to hide the smile that’s trying to break out on my face 

“Okay” I say silently 

As I make a move to slide off the counter, he puts his arms around my waist and lifts me up and places me down, I look up through my lashes and shyly say 

“Thank you”

“No problem, come on let’s go” 

As we leave, I walk in front of him and slight jump when he places his hands on my lower back to guide me.

Yep he’s going to be the death of me..
