Daniel's POV

I was angry because my dad wanted me to come home and also that plastic Barbie is going to be there .

I didn't know someone was coming my way when coffee was at spilled all over my suit

I had a meeting to attend and this happens.

“Are you blind or what.” I shouted at the girl that was already on the floor cursing.

She has the most perfect face have seen her Brown eyes and her lips was drawing me to taste it.. what am I even thinking about ..

“You are the one blind can't you see your broad chest was in the way and now you're blaming me seriously.”She said shouting at me , she was looking at my chest like…

“Appologize and leave .”I said trying to get my anger under control

“No way am leaving here , my friend Adam his boss is going to fire him if he don't bring his coffee early and I gave him the wrong order.”She said looking around as if she's lost

“And..” I said, this is going to be fun she doesn't know that am Daniel Wright I gave my bodyguards signal not to come close

“He's going to fire him , Adam told me he's very hard to please and was angry this morning can you show me his office so that I can explain this .”She said this girl is a talkative am sure of it

“Sure this way .”I said acting ignorant

“You are coming with me you are taking part of the blame I can't let that jerk fire my friend .”She said glaring at me

Well Adam has a lot of explaining to do.

“How did you know he's a jerk.”i asked amused

“I overheard the workers am sure he's an old crumpy man but I don't care am going to beg him not to fire Adam.”She said with determination in her voice well I know the staff gossip about me but I don't really care

The elevator stopped and I came out she was following me.

She Saw Adam whose eyes were widened when he saw the both of them together.

I had a smirk on my face

“Adam am sorry it's my fault I wasn't paying attention to the order .”Christy said sadly looking at Adam

“Is that why you are here .”Adam asked her surprisingly

“Yes I met him on the way and spilled the coffee on him it was his fault walking around looking at his phone.”Christy said glaring at Daniel

“Chrsty this is my boss I have been talking about Mr Daniel Wright.”Adam said making gasp

“He's the Daniel Wright. “Christy asked Adam again

“Yes.”Adam said in a whisper

“Why didn't you say that he was your boss from the beginning.”Christy said in a whisper again

“You know I can hear you right.”Daniel said with a smirk plastered on his face

“Uhmm my name is Chrsty Salvatore nice to meet you and sorry for spilling coffee on your expensive suit and please don't fire Adam am at fault.”Christy said bowing down

So her name's Christy .

“I wasn't going to fire him I haven't even seen the coffee yet.”Daniel said

“Thank God see you later Adam.”Christy said running out

“So ehmm sir..”Adam said trying to get Danielle attention

“So how did you know. her.”Daniel said raising his eyebrows

“She makes the coffee you can't live a day without and she's a really sweet soul.”Adam said smiling

“Do you like her.”Daniel asked all of a sudden making Adam blush

“No I don't like her she's just a friend I like someone else .”Adam said again

“Whatever am going home handle the office and Don't call me .”Daniel said leaving

I called my driver and he was already waiting for me outside.

I was standing outside my parents house I can't wait for this dinner to end.

Haley has been acting like my girlfriend since and has been receiving glares from my mother thank God am not the only person that hates her am thankful her father isn't here.

“So Haley how are things going with work.”My Dad asked Haley

“Everything's fine I decided to take a break and focus on some other things.”Haley said looking at me

“Really what things if I may ask.”My Dad said

“It's nothing big but I'll tell you about it later.”Haley said smiling again

“Let's eat before dinner gets cold.”my mother said making me thankful to her

She just smiled at me, she's the only one that understands me well .

“The dessert is served .”A maid said

I can't stop thinking about Christy her face just pops up anything o close my eyes or even try to think and it's annoying.

“Son how are things going in the office.”My Dad asked

“Let him be Greg .”My Mom said

“I just wanted to talk to him since he won't talk about anything but work.”My Dad said

“Son you know I have missed you you don't come around anymore except I beg it's not fair you know.”My Mom said sadly

“I'll try mom thanks for dinner I have something to attend to bye.”I said standing up to leave

“Son you're getting engaged to Haley in two weeks time .”My Dad said making me to pause

“Really uncle.”Haley said excitedly

“Dad you can't force me to do that.”Daniel said angrily

“Danny we can work this out.”Haley said trying to hold me

“Don't even dare.”I said glaring at her

“You can't keep acting like you want it's high time you got married.”Greg said angry this time

“Greg stop this , you're the reason he doesn't come home can't you see.”My Mom said glaring at my Dad and Haley

“I have someone I love already and have asked her to marry me.”I said surprising everyone.
