Truth

Classes were almost coming to an end, so I stealthily sneaked out of the rest room so no one would notice me. I walked down the hallway and when I was about reaching the end of the hallway, I heard a familiar voice. I halted in my steps.

Gosh, it just had to be her.

"And where do you think you're sneaking out to vivian, or should I say... Sis?" Ruby was at her usual annoying self once again.

"You know, it would have been really nice of you if you had my back for once, sis! Oh sorry we aren't even blood related, but there's something I really don't get. I don't get why you so much despise me, all I ever wanted was a family who would love me and treat me as their own, well at least Michelle doesn't see me the way you do. Maybe it's my appearance, my red hair, my red eyes, maybe you find me disgusting, don't know..... Y-you think I wanted any of THIS?! Do you even know how many times I regretted being here, being alive?!! Aargh, it's just a waste of time telling you all this, you'll always be the same selfish, self-centered, heartless b*tch! Tell michelle I'll be home before dinner, I'm heading out." I yelled as my eyes got clouded with tears, I bit my lower lips and stared at her with pain and anger evident in my eyes before walking out.

I clenched my chest in pain as tears threatened to fall. 'Why did I even say all that, my words will never affect nor change her, its just useless,' I smiled faintly and looked up to the sky, 'It would have still been nice to have a loving sis of my own, but seems like all that is just a dream that can never come true.' I sniffed and wiped off my tears. 'No time for emotions, I need to get to the bottom of what's happening to me!' I heaved a sigh and kept on walking.

Ruby stared at her as she walked away, it felt like something in her heart shattered, shattered into million pieces. She flopped on the floor as tears started flowing down her cheeks non-stop. 'Maybe she's right, why did I even hate her, I guess I was just jealous, afraid that she'd take my place and now that I think about about it, that's pretty much selfish. I guess she was right about one thing. I'm truly a selfish, self-centered, heartless b*tch and I'm so sorry vivian!" Her heart clenched in pain. Regret filled her eyes. "I'm so sorry... Sister." She buried her face in her knees and cried her heart out. She realized how much love she had deprived vivian of, she never really thought about it but she actually enjoyed having her around.

I sighed, "Old church cemetery, here I come!", I walked in and surprisingly found it deserted. "Weird, shouldn't someone be here?" I scratched my head and walked further instead.

"Hello? Weird old lady!" I kept on yelling until I suddenly saw a figure appeared swiftly behind me.

"Who are you calling an old lady!"

"Oh sorry if I mistook you for one, could we just get this over with, I'm starving!"

"Follow me," she said and started leaping forward.

"Hey?! Where are we heading to? I thought we are supposed to talk HERE!"

"Shut up and try to keep up."

Aargh!! How many a**holes will I meet in just one life time! I started running after her trying as hard I could to keep up with her. She was literally leaping from one building to another with speed.

Like how the h*ll do you expect me to keep up with that!

She headed into an alley and by the time I got there, she was gone. Huh?! Where's she? Hello? Where'd you go?

"Over here dummy."

"Aaah! What the h*ll! Why'd you creep up on me like that, and where the h*ll did you just come out from"

"Could you stop cursing just for one second!"

"Ugh! Whatever. Now where are we heading"

"In here." She pointed at a hidden passage that was underground.

"Woah, that's cool! An underground hideout." I held my face and gasped in excitement. My boring old life is finally getting interesting. "Could you just get in!"

We both climbed in and kept on walking till we saw a flicker of light. I ran towards the light with both curiosity and excitement.

My eyes widened in horror the instant I saw her face.

What the!!

I stumbled backwards, I could finally see her clearly and she was nothing like the innocent girl I met in the restroom. She was dressed like an assassin. Wearing all black with hidden weapons in her pockets. "W-who are you!" I glared at her.

"C'mon aurora, don't give me that look. I told you, if I really wanted to kill you, I would have done that a while ago."

"Huhn? W-who's Aurora?" I creased my brows in confusion.

"Wha- really? Hmm.. This is really fascinating, so you don't even remember your name?" She said also astonished.

My eyes went wide open in shock. I suddenly felt chills run down my spine, it felt like someone poured a bucket of ice on me.

"In that case, why not I help you remember." I saw the corner of lips curved up. 'What's she planning t-", and before I knew what was going on, I felt a sharp pain on my head and everywhere suddenly turned pitch black.

"Tie her up and inject her before she regains consciousness."
