Xander’s POV
It was finally time to complete the link breaking ceremony, and Tess and I stood hand in hand in front of the coven of witches in the small communal room of the palace. We had only invited a small handful of people; including mom, dad, Jake, Eva, Luscious, and Shaun, who had come in just for the wedding. Laney, Luscious’ wife was with us as well, but she was apart of the coven that would be conducting the ceremony.
I was feeling all sorts of things as I stood there and watched the head witch Cassie lay out the dagger, and the rare stone that looked like a dinosaur egg. I guess it was perfectly normal to feel that way, our lives were fixing to change and intertwine all at once, and I had a feeling the wedding would feel nothing like this.
