The following day, I was still both struggling to comprehend everything. I have to deal with my new classes that start today. I looked over my first semester class schedule, I was oggeled with utter confusion. My first class was called Symbology, my second class was the Essence of Magic, and my final class was the Origins of Magic.
When I arrived at my Symbology class at the beginning of the day, I discovered that apparently it was about the use of symbols and chants, to channel the energy of nature.
Shortly after class, a small group of students walked up to me and asked if I would sit with them at lunch. I figured they must be from some welcoming committee. In the end it turns out they weren't.
There were four people in the group, the first was a guy named Enzo Una Bartova. He was a tall figure, his muscles were very defined, and he had long silver hair with pale blue streaks in it.
The second was a girl named Amora Larus Pamone, she was a Balorian. In comparison to Enzo, she was a dwarf. The two boys in the group liked to make fun of her for it. They were just kidding, because all of the people in her territory were very short like dwarfs. So in the end, it didn’t really bother her.
The third was a guy who couldn't talk, like literally. He had to use a spell to translate his thoughts into speech; it was pretty cool actually. He was about 5’6”.
The last was a cloaked girl who hasn’t spoken a word and was introduced last by the other members of their group, as Alice Golotherim.
We were sitting among the flowering bushes and practicing our incantations; When I noticed that our origins of magic professor was watching me from a nearby bench.
I decided to walk up to him and ask him,
“Hey, I noticed that you were staring at me while I was sitting with my new friends. Is there something you want from me professor?”
“I need you to come to my office after all your classes are done, for a special lecture."
After the short meeting with professor Sebastian, I went back to sit with my friends.
We learned earlier in this semester that mythical creatures such as Dragons, Unicorns, etc. did in fact live on Earth. That they were not made up, but they were magical beings created by the gods to protect us.
The gods decided to transform them into their purest spirit forms so they could not be killed or destroyed by those who were gripped with the desire of science to eradicate them!
In our last class of the week, we had to create a powerful spell that would create a heaven tree. Which allowed us to speak with the spirits of the mythical creatures that lived on the Astral plane.
I wasn’t particularly looking forward to the lecture at the end of the day, but it seemed to be important. Although, I couldn’t help but be curious about what Professor Sebastian had to say to me.
