Chapter 25
"Ok, that is totally Nathan," said Josh.
"Wait, you slept with him?" I asked her. Although it should not have, the fact hit me like a thousand bricks. I couldn't help comparing her to myself. "You're his teacher!"
She shook her head.
"I saw him in a club a few days after I started teaching in your school," she croaked. Her eyes were flooded with tears. "He bunked off during those days, so when I saw him I didn't know that he was a student. It was just a one night stand..."
The situation felt awkward because when it comes to people crying I was not the best person to turn to. Luckily for me, Josh could comfort people as well as he could confront. He gave Lena a hug. She stopped crying slowly and wiped away her tears.
