Chapter 27 I got up and nearly had a heart attack when I realized that Josh was in my bed. But then the nightmare came back into my head and I remembered what had happened the night before. I slowly got out of the bed, trying to avoid waking up Josh. A few minutes later, I was sitting in the kitchen table, with the quietness echoing around the house. It reminded me of those days I sat with the twins, waiting for my mother or father to return from the business trips. Of course they always made up an excuse, especially her. I heard someone behind me and I saw that Josh had got up. His hair was sticking up, and his torso was exposed, making my heart jump a little at the curves of his abs.
