At the canteen, the space buzzed with noise—students talking over one another, trays clattering, laughter echoing off the walls. Everyone was eating, but Sofia sat quietly, poking at her food, her mind clearly elsewhere. Molly noticed first. She leaned closer, narrowing her eyes. “Sofia… what are you thinking about?
