Skylar feels like total crap. He splashes more water onto his face before returning to the bedroom. He notices that Kai’s gone but he doesn’t have the energy to look for him so he settles back onto the bed again.
He hears the door opening but he doesn’t move. “What time is it? Do you think I still have time to sleep before going out?” Skylar mumbles, he probably thinks it’s Kai that just entered the room.
“That won’t be necessary, I cancelled our plans.” Aphrodite says.
Skylar jerks up but he instantly regrets it when he feels a wave of nausea coursing through him. “What are you doing here?” he pants out.
