Eve’s POV
I just needed to pack a bag or two as usual, nothing too much. Our flight to New Jersey was quick.
After Logan told me that we were flying out. I gave some thoughts to it and I wasn’t going to leave New York, but then I received a call from Mark that he wasn’t going to be in the office for a few days.
He had something to attend to, although he didn’t mention what it was and I didn’t ask. Most times when he says things like that, I just feel it’s something relating to his personal life.
I also received a video text from Henry which showed that he was getting his nose fixed, and he said in the message that while he was trying to catch his cat, he slipped and fell and now has a cracked nose and also wouldn’t be able to be in the office for a few days.
