“Happy birthday grandma.” I said when I walked up to her.
“Thank you, darling.” She was really happy just as happy as I was.
I wanted everyone to know that Logan and I are on good terms and whatever happened last night was just a misunderstanding, and I already came up with the idea of how to solve it.
I helped grandma sit, and I moved to where Logan was standing and stood really close to him. It took me a lot of confidence to do what I did, but I wrapped one of my hands on his waist and rested my head on his chest as we all sang a happy birthday song for grandma.
Logan didn’t react as usual, but he was comfortable. After Mrs. Maxwell and I were done singing the birthday song to grandma, that was when the gifting began.
