"So tell me Ayira, where do you live " the way her name rolled off his tongue felt magical but the dear she was feeling didn't let her dwell deep into the matter. The closer they got to the king's room the more Ayira's heartbeat increased "I reside in a county called Hawthorne, Your Majesty........my father is the Duke of the County" she managed to reply eloquently, Edna would have been really proud of her, she sighed as she though of these. "Hmn you must have had quite the upbringing I see". "Quite so....Your Majesty but it has not all been a bed of roses as I grew up without a mother's care"
Ayira tried not to show her discomfort as the king was still holding unto her hand and caressing it softly as they walked. Ayira couldn't deny the feeling she was getting but she knew it was in no way appropriate "Your Majesty if I may say something" she said while struggling not to free her hand from his grasp. "If it's something like telling me to let go of your hand, then don't talk because I'm not planning to" he answered nonchalantly walking like he was taking a stroll in the garden.
Ayira pursed her lips, which shows she had a different opinion "As the king it should be a priority to uphold basic courtesy, even if you don't find it daunting it doesn't speak well of my reputation as a young lady who is unmarried" she expressed which earned a chuckle from the king "I see the problem is you being unmarried uhn, but as you said I'm the king and I don't give a damn about that" he said then tugged her into his arm, earning a yelp from her.
Ayira opened her eyes wide and struggled, this time with a furious gaze "Unhand me Your Majesty!" She seethed angrily and struggled to get away from his grasp "Hmm finally......you're showing your feisty side, and I like it" The king said in a husky seductive tone as he held her in place with one arm with a mischievous look on this face. "Please Unhand me Your Majesty!" She pleaded with gritting teeth "what if someone passes and see" she said as she looked around. "Hmm, you should have let me know earlier......if you were worried about being like this in public why don't we go somewhere more.....private" he said with the smile Ayira was growing to hate.
In just a second, he was in the king quarters with Ayira now clinging to him voluntarily obviously shaken up by the sudden speed. She was shaken so badly that her legs became too weak to stand and she rested all her weight on Azrael, hearing of the inhumane speed of the vampires and seeing it first hand were two different things. "Easy there cub" Azrael teased as he held her closer to prevent her from falling. As soon as her head was a bit focused, she struggled to stand on her feet and thus time he let her.
"You don't need to be shy anymore Ayira, after all .......no one will see us" he said in whispers as her removed the strands of her frost white hair that got stuck on her face due to perspiration. Ayira turned away from his touch as she dared to glare at the king "This is wrong Your Majesty, for one it is demeaning and very unfitting to do this to a lady but as I can see you have no common courtesy........I dare to say " she said looking flustered and out of breath. She was scared for her life but get dignity was the same as her life, in a society where ladies mean less. Losing your dignity is equivalent to losing ones life.
The king chuckled and moved to the table where a clean glass and fresh blood has been placed, opening the bottle he poured out the content into a glass cup. "You're really one feisty cub aren't you.....that is why you catch on fast, since you know I have no common courtesy now then you should also know I can do whatever I want with you" he raised his glass up to her before downing the blood, licking the remnant on his lips with relish while smirking wickedly.
With a step, he appeared right in her front and held her face in his hands. Ayira tried to turn her face away from the smell of blood that wafted into her nose, which was making her nauseous. "It doesn't smell good right? .....I know that too but from the scent of your blood....." He took a deep sniff of her neck that made Ayira shudder in fear "you'd taste magnificent......now we shouldn't keep a king away from his meal, should we?" He said playfully as he licked her bare neck in delight, he felt her shudder and knew it wasn't just out of fear, she was enjoying it involuntarily.
"Your Majesty please" she begged in trembling voice knowing she couldn't continue to struggle against a vampire who could kill her in a second, moreover she was truly frightened this time. He halted and took a deep sniff "hmm stupid little cub.....do you know how many ladies pleaded with me the way you just did?.....I never listened to them, what makes you think you'll be different uhn?." He asked as he resumed his preparation woth his fang grazing her neck. "I'll do as you say..... anything your Majesty, as long as you don't defile me" she compromised while trembling with eyes filled with unshed tears.
"You my dear.....are a fast learner" he said as he backed away and before he moved further away he pulled out the pin that was holding the upper part of her hair in place and everything came lose, as she gasped and raised her now red eyes up Azrael felt the blood rush as his fang began to ache once again. She was looking so beautiful at the moment, her eyes, pale and captivating like orbs of a icy moonlight stared at him with fear and caution.
"Oh my dear, that look will make me forego all sense of direction because you're blazing and I like it hot" Azrael smiled as he licked his sharp fangs that made his striking face look strangely alluring. Ayira hurriedly lowered her gaze and held her skirt tightly "What would you have me do .... Your Majesty?" She asked when making sure she was not making eye contact. "Smart girl" he said with an enigmatic smile and went towards the cushion that was a few strides away from where Ayira stood. "Ayira my dear..........you have too much clothes on" he complained, she looked up fast with questioning look. "Oh and I thought you were a smart girl..........I'm telling you to undress Ayira"
