Elle wandered through the dense, emerald-green foliage, her delicate feet bare and her silver hair disheveled. The soft heart beneath her feet was damp and spongy, muffling her footsteps as she navigated the twisting path. Towering trees loomed above, their branches tangled in a canopy of leaves that filtered the sunlight, casting dappled shadows across the forest floor. she had lost count of the days or was it weeks? since she'd stumbled into this mystical realm. The memories of her life before the forest were hazy, fragmented and elusive. Elle's only certainty was that she was trapped, a prisoner of the forest's ancient magic. As she walked, the silence was broken by the soft rustling of leaves, the chirping of birds, and the distant rumble of a waterfall. Elle's ears perked up, and she followed the sounds of the falls, hoping to find a source of fresh water. The path opened up to a clearing, and Elle's breath caught in her throat. Before her lay a stunning waterfall, cascading down a rocky slope into a crystal-clear pool. The sunlight dancing through the mist created a breathtaking rainbow, it's colors vibrant and alive. Elle approached the pool, feeling the cool mist on her skin, and knelt down to cup her hands and take a refreshing drink. As she lifted her head to gaze up at the falls, she sensed a presence behind her. she spun around, her heart racing, and that was when she saw him. A towering figure,his broad shoulders and chiseled physique evident even under the black leather armor that seemed molded to his body. His piercing blue eyes seemed to bore into Elle's very soul, and and his jet black hair fell to his shoulders, framing a face that was both beautiful and cruel. Elle's instinct screamed at her to flee,but her feet seemed rooted to the spot. The stranger's gaze held her captive, and she felt a shiver run down her spine as he began to circle around her. "who are you?" Elle demanded, trying to keep her voice steady. The stranger's gaze didn't waver, his piercing blue eyes seeming to bore into Elle's very soul. "I am kael," he replied, his eyes burning with an inner intensity that made her skin prickle with unease.
