102 Trials are Planned
Immediately after they had finished their discussions, Elizabeth called for a page to send a message to Magistrate Oswald Gridley to clear his calendar for the day after tomorrow; the purpose would be for the separate public trials of the two bishops and Daniel. The same message was also sent to Prosecutor Irwin Burnet and Merrill Jarvis; the latter would be appointed as the defense attorney. That would allow Merrill the rest of the day and all of tomorrow to speak with his new clients, determine their plea and prepare for their defense. She further advised that the trials would be held in the throne room at the castle which would be modified to accommodate the court setting with more room for a public gallery.
