The day after the meeting with James and Elizabeth, Hugh approached Tom at The Huntress Inn and suggested they sit and talk over a cup of coffee. When they were settled, Hugh said, “I want you to know how much I appreciate your work, your expertise, and your management of the books for Kyata. You have been invaluable. I want to introduce you to my financial backers. They are anxious to meet you. What do you say?”
“Well … thank you very much for the compliments. I have enjoyed working with you since Kyata was launched and are pleased that you are happy with my efforts. I want to meet with your backers … just let me know when and where it will be?” Tom replied.
