Evangeline snatched the pregnancy result out of Kelson's hand, glaring at him with fury in her eyes.
"What if I am pregnant? It is not as if you care about my well being in the first place," she snapped, packing the rest of her things inside her purse.
"Why didn't you tell me that you were pregnant, Eva?" He questioned, hurt that she would keep such an important news from him.
He began to wonder if she did the same thing in their past life. And he failed to notice that she was pregnant with his child.
Kelson felt guilty that he had also played a part in his wife's distrust in him. He had ignored her and paid his attention to Celina.
Realizing his mistake, he reached out his hand to hold Evangeline but she pulled away from him.
"Kelson, I want a divorce," she muttered, her voice cold and stern. Kelson was shocked by her request and couldn't fathom the right words to say to her.
He panicked, dropping down on his knees after hearing her words. He didn't want to lose her in this life, never again.
Kelson finally realized what Evangeline felt when he told her he wanted a divorce in their previous life.He became scared of losing her.
"Eva, let's talk this through. This is not you." Holding her hand he tried to coax her.
"I mean every word I said, Kelson. Have you forgotten that Celina is the one you cherish the most? I can't stay in a draining marriage while you treat another woman before my eyes. My lawyer will reach out to you soon," she said, pulling her hand away from him.
"If that is what you want, fine. But know that you won't get my signature. I won't let you divorce me, Eva."
"What?"
"You heard me right. I will not let you divorce me not with my child in your womb."
"Then we will see in court." She declared, Walking out of his ward without hesitation.
Kelson knew that he messed up in his past life but he was ready to make it up to her again. Chase her until she gives up on their divorce and give her the love he should have shown her in his former life.
At the entrance, Celina stood with a glint in her eyes.
"It is a good thing that you have realized your place," she said with a smug on her face.
"You can have him now. I hope you can fit into his circle." Evangeline reminded her.
Even if Celina got together with Kelson, she will never be an elite. His parents disliked her and the social circle Kelson had was beyond her level.
Hearing this from Evangeline made her veins pop in anger. She glared at Evangeline's back with a murderous intent.
‘_Just wait until I get my hands on what I want. I promise you Evangeline, you will die by my hands.'_. Celina muttered in her mind, panting with hatred.
Once Evangeline was out of Celina's sight, she let out a deep breath. Holding her belly, she was going to do everything to protect her baby.
Just like Kelson, she reawakened and traveled back in time.
But she was quick enough to realize it. In this life, she was going to do everything to prevent her death and punish Celina for what she did to her, starting from poisoning her baby.
Evangeline found out that her miscarriage in her past life was Celina's doing. And this time around, she was going to get back at her including her husband.
With the burning desire for revenge, Evangeline walked out of the hospital.
"Ma, where are we heading from here?" Her driver, Mr. Ollie asked.
"Take me to the Browns' main house. I would love to meet my in-laws," she said, looking at her phone with an evil smile as she scrolled through dirty pictures of Celina sent by an unknown number.
Things are about to get hotter because the new Evangeline was reborn with chaos, like a brewing storm.
