Chloe Morgan’s life is ordinary—until a chance encounter with a mysterious stranger turns her world upside down.

Liam Blackwood is handsome, guarded, and impossible to forget. Their connection is instant, but every time Chloe gets close, Liam pulls away, hiding secrets that refuse to stay buried. When strange men begin following her, mysterious symbols appear out of nowhere, and a silver pendant awakens powers she can’t explain, Chloe realizes her life has never been as ordinary as she believed.

As Liam fights to protect the woman he loves, he finds himself caught in a bitter rivalry with Aiden Cross—the rightful heir to the Black Fang Pack. While Liam is willing to challenge destiny itself to become the next Alpha, Aiden believes leadership should belong to the one chosen by fate, not by strength.

But Chloe’s growing friendship with Aiden awakens a dangerous jealousy in Liam, threatening to destroy the very love that once brought out the best in him. As ancient prophecies resurface and powerful enemies emerge from the shadows, Chloe discovers she is far more connected to the werewolf world than anyone has dared to tell her.

When love is tested by lies, jealousy, betrayal, and destiny, Liam must make an impossible choice: fight for the Alpha throne he has always desired… or risk everything to win back the only woman who ever truly owned his heart.

Some secrets are meant to stay buried.

Some prophecies can never be escaped.

And sometimes… the greatest battle isn’t between rival Alphas—it’s between love and destiny.

A gripping paranormal romance filled with slow-burn passion, forbidden love, Alpha rivalry, shocking twists, supernatural secrets, heartbreak, redemption, and unforgettable cliffhangers that will keep you turning the pages until the very end

Chapter 1: The Man at Table Seven
The lunch rush always brought out the worst in people. Some complained that their coffee wasn’t hot enough. Others snapped their fingers as if the waitstaff were invisible. Chloe Morgan had learned to smile through all of it. “Table four wants extra ranch,” her manager called. “They already have three cups.” “They want four.” Chloe sighed under her breath, grabbed another cup of ranch, and forced a smile before weaving through the crowded café. Working two jobs wasn’t exactly the glamorous future she’d imagined after graduating from college, but rent didn’t care about dreams. By one-thirty, the rush had finally started to die down. She leaned against the counter and stretched her sore shoulders. “You look dead,” Mia, another waitress, teased. “I feel dead.” “You need a vacation.” “I need my student loans to disappear.” They both laughed. The bell above the entrance chimed. Every conversation inside the café seemed to pause for half a second. Not because someone famous had walked in. Because the man who entered had a presence that made people notice. He was tall, dressed in black from head to toe despite the Florida heat. His dark hair looked slightly messy, like he’d been driving with the windows down. His expression wasn’t angry exactly… Just unreadable. His eyes swept across the café before settling on the empty booth by the window. “Table seven,” Mia whispered. “Guess he’s yours.” “Why mine?” “Because I served the last mysterious hot guy.” “That’s not how shifts work.” “It is today.” Chloe rolled her eyes and picked up a menu. As she approached the booth, the man didn’t look up immediately. He seemed distracted, staring outside as though waiting for someone. “Good afternoon.” His attention shifted to her. For a strange second, he simply stared. Not in an inappropriate way. More like… Recognition. Had they met before? “Welcome,” Chloe said. “Can I get you something to drink?” His gaze lingered a moment longer before he finally answered. “Black coffee.” “Anything else?” He glanced at the menu without really reading it. “The grilled chicken sandwich.” “You got it.” She scribbled the order and walked away. Only after reaching the counter did she realize she’d been holding her breath. “Well?” Mia asked. “What?” “He’s ridiculously handsome.” Chloe shrugged, pretending not to care. “So?” “So?” “That’s your entire response?” “I’m working.” Mia snorted. “Liar.” A few minutes later, Chloe returned with his coffee. As she set the mug down, her elbow bumped into the edge of the table. The coffee tipped. “Oh!” Dark liquid splashed across the man’s sleeve. Silence. The café suddenly felt too quiet. “Oh my God,” Chloe gasped, grabbing napkins. “I’m so sorry. That was completely my fault.” She reached to blot the coffee from his jacket but stopped herself halfway. Professional boundaries. Right. “I’ll pay for the cleaning,” she said quickly. “It was an accident.” His voice was calm. Too calm. Most customers would’ve demanded the manager by now. Instead, he accepted the napkins from her hand. “It’s fine.” “No, it isn’t.” “It is.” Their eyes met again. For a heartbeat, Chloe had the oddest feeling that he wasn’t looking at her face. He was listening. Almost like he could hear something no one else could. The hairs on the back of her neck stood up. “Have we met?” he asked quietly. “I… don’t think so.” “Hm.” Before either of them could say another word— CRASH! A plate shattered in the kitchen. Everyone turned toward the noise. When Chloe looked back… The man was already staring out the window again. Outside, across the street, another man stood perfectly still. Tall. Broad shoulders. Wearing a gray hoodie despite the afternoon heat. The two men locked eyes from a distance. Neither moved. Neither smiled. The air inside the café suddenly felt heavy. The stranger across the street turned and disappeared into the crowd. The man at table seven slowly stood. “I have to go.” “But… your food isn’t ready.” “You can keep it.” He left several bills on the table—far more than the meal cost—and walked out without another word. Chloe hurried to the window. She watched him cross the street, searching for the man in the gray hoodie. Within seconds… Both men were gone. She frowned. “Who are you?” She didn’t know it yet. But meeting the mysterious customer at table seven was the moment her ordinary life quietly came to an end.
