Matthew pulled Allison closer and wiped the tears from her eyes. “It’s all in the past. You can let it go whenever you are ready.” She forced a smile and nodded. Matthew hugged her again and whispered in her ear, “When are you going to move into my room?” Allison blinked. She smiled and wrinkled her nose. Her phone beeped before she could answer. Allison usually puts her phone on silent mode when it’s close to her bedtime. But because she had a busy and tiring day, it slipped off her mind.
