When Yvonne left the room, Matthew and Allison took it as a cue to leave. Noah began to get up but decided to go to the garden to get some air, while Agatha remained in the kitchen to leave some instructions and help the servants tidy the dining table. Allison hugged Agatha before they went on their way.
They overheard Yvonne arguing with someone over the phone when they passed by the small corridor leading to the living room. Matthew stopped Allison in her tracks and pulled her to hide.
“No, Marco! You listen to me!” Yvonne tried to control the volume of her voice, but the two could still hear her audibly from where they were standing. “You promised me that you were no longer in contact with her, but today I learned you still talk to each other.”
