Beep beep! Beep beep! Urgh! This stupid alarm. I went to turn it off. I checked what time it was. It was freaking 6 in the morning. Urgh! I wish I could stay in bed longer. If only.  Oh, wait. Hey, my name is Lilia. Lilia Madison. I'm 15 and I'm turning 16 in November. I can't wait. 16 is when I can finally get my L license. Yay! Well, today is the first day of Year 10. This better be my year. Like I say that every single year, but I can just tell year 10 is when I rock. I go to Mont High School and it's a pretty good school considering other public schools are really bad. But I love my school and I love my friends. BANG BANG BANG! "WAKE UP!" yelled my older brother, Joshua. "Dad's made breakfast and I wanna be early to school." Urgh. I hate mornings. I used to love mornings and I'd wake up super early for school. Now I can't wake up early anymore. It usually results in Josh pulling me out of bed.  "Okay, OKay. I'm up." I reply back. Getting out of bed, I open my door and outside is no other than my two lovely(NOT) brothers. Joshua and Maison. Maison is the oldest and he's in Year 12 this year. Joshua, or Josh, is in Year 11. We all go to the same school.  "What do you guys want?" I asked with my hands on my hips.  "You look like a monster eat her hair and left a rat to nest in it." blurted out Josh. Maison whacked him on the back of the head. "owww! What was that for?" shouted Josh. "Leave Lils alone. She just woke up," replied Maison. "Urgh, whatever jerks." and I pushed them both out of the way. I headed to the bathroom and got ready for school.  Standing in front of the mirror, I looked at myself wearing my school uniform. I was an average looking girl, but I loved what I looked like. Brown, long hair that goes to my ribs. I had green eyes, like my dad's. I really wished I got my mum's eyes. Her beautiful sky, blue eyes that seem to like up the room. My brothers also had my mum's eyes. Just my dad and I who had the green eyes and seem to have a fire-like look when you look at them.  I didn't mind wearing a school uniform. It actually looks good on me. A nice summer dress with a choice of a jumper, which I had on, and the school blazer on top. Knee-length, white socks and simple black school shoes. I put my hair in a nice high ponytail and went downstairs.  "Took you long enough to get ready."  "I didn't take that long, Josh." "Okay, enough both of you." Said, dad. Placing two plates of waffles on the table.   I went to sit down and eating my waffles. I love my dad's waffles their the best. After breakfast, I up my plate away and packed my bag. It was 7 am and school started at 8 am. So, I had exactly an hour to waste. "Lils, I want to get to school early and it takes like 20 mins to drive to school. So, we leave in like 15 minutes. Kay?" Maison came up to me saying. "Okay, sure." "OH, I'm also picking up Danny and Max on the way." "Sure," I said going back on my phone. We arrived at school at 7.40 and still had 20 minutes to waste.  "LILIA!" screamed Jason. Waving frantically at me. Jason is one of my best friends. He and I are like twins. Our parents were best friends in uni, so I grew up with Jason. I have known him my whole life. "OMG! Jason." I screamed back. Running up to give him a hug. " Hey, girlie. How have you been?" "I've been good, Jay. You saw me like two days ago." rolling my eyes. "Ye, and... I miss my bestie." "LILIA!" Shouted Zoey. "Finally, you're here. I've been waiting for 30 minutes for you to get. Oh, hiya, Jason." "Hey, Z. Good to see you too" I replied, hugging her. "Sup, Zoey-kins," said Jason.  "Okay, so I heard there's gonna be a new kid in our year level this year," says Zoey. So, Zoey here loves to listen to gossip. However, she doesn't, and I mean doesn't gossip to others. Only to our friendship group. Which includes: Jason, Zoey, her twin brother, Grant, Grant's girlfriend, Macey. Who are childhood besties, who fell in love. And Max, or Maxwell. These are my best friends. Without them with me, I don't know how I'll survive life.  "OHHH. Who is this new kid?" Asked Jason. Well, leaving them to talk about this new kid. I went to go get my timetable and laptop from the office. I'm getting a new laptop this year and I'm so excited cause it's way better than my old one. "Hey, Lils!" waved Max. "How ya goin'" Max came up to me. "Hey, Max. I'm good, thanks. How are you?" waving back. "I'm good." "Heyy, guys," said Macey with Grant on her arm. Zoey and Grant tailing behind them. "Hey, Macey. Hey, Grant" Max and I said in unison.  "So, anyone know anything bout this new guy that just transferred here?" asked Macey, looking at us one by one.  "Nope," popping my p. "Damn, I wish I knew," said Zoey. RINGG. RINGG. "Oh, that's the first bell. Better head to homeroom," said Jason. "Wait, who's in 10 Blue?" I asked everyone. Not wanting to be in a homeroom with no friends. "f**k yes." "ME" Jason and Zoey saying at the same time. "Oh, God. Hope you're teacher don't mind that trio." Max smirked at us. "I'm in 10 Gold. So, see ya." "OK, me and Grant are in 10 Green," said Macey. "Meet up at our normal lunch spot." We all agreed and said our goodbyes. Zoey, Jason and I went to 10 Blue. "I wonder who the teacher is gonna be?" asked Jason. "I honestly don't care. I'm just so happy that we all are in the same homeroom," replied Zoey. "Ye, but it's only for homeroom. We're gonna be separate for our subjects." I said back. We walked into our homeroom class and sat in the back. Our classroom was one of the big ones and thank God for that. I really don't want to be in a small room.  "Okay, class. My name is Mr Murray and I am going to be your homeroom teacher for the rest of the year." Mr Murray walking into the classroom and standing in front of the whiteboard.  "Okay, so today is the first day of year 10. Welcome. Hopefully, you all had a nice summer break and are ready for a school year.." That's when I zoned out of his little speech. Every teacher basically says the same thing every school year. It's so repetitive.  "Your classes won't start until after recess. Until then you will be in here getting to know everyone better." Knock knock. Mr Murray went to open the door. "Oh yes, I was expecting you. Come in, please." letting a student into the classroom. He had nice wavey, brown chestnut hair. He was tan, but on the light side of tan. But what stood out was his eyes.
