    Jacob and I didn’t talk for the rest of the day. I couldn’t even look at him. The only time I was able to stop myself from crying was when Jade had food ready. I sat across from Jacob and tried my best not to look up at him. Even though I knew he didn’t mean a word he said, his words still stung.
