    Seven days passed quickly. I only saw Jacob during breakfast and dinner. Other than that, I was in my design room. Inspiration had struck and taken hold of me as soon as he told me that we didn’t need to be dressy for our first public appearance as a couple. I designed and sewed until the night before the festival. When I finished, I folded Jacob’s shirt neatly into a gift box. I wrapped it with blue wrapping paper and placed a silver bow on top. I hung my matching shirt up in my room.     Jacob let me sleep in the next morning.
