Mina Is Strange

The video games over which Jackson spent all night creating it were finally ready to make a special move in the industry. Jackson took a decision to release a teaser of the game on social media without any notice.

He didn't even inform Richard about it and posted the teaser. As soon as the teaser was out, it went viral. Not viral as a joke but in the excitement of fans for the upcoming amazing game which will be played for generations with the same love.

Millions of likes and views were showered by the fans on the small clip, they were excited for the game to be released soon. They want it in the stores as soon as possible to play it with friends and of course, to show off a game created by the son of their famous billionaire, Mr. Robert.

"Damn! You are too good to give surprises bro!", Richard gasped as he read the comments and fanmade posts on social media. He was amused by the small success. Everyone loved it. They were eagerly waiting for the game.

"I have promised myself to take the highest place in the industry, this time. No one can stop me from this", Jackson let a devilish smirk form on his lips. He looked scary with the glass of wine in his hands and the death stare he was giving to it.

"Hahaha, you look scary dude! But this ego is a must, we need to show everyone that we can do something on our own and we don't need our father's money to be something", Richard confessed while Richard nodded in agreement.

Their entire life of 27 years was only passed by listening to what people will think and say. Some people hated them because they have the money of their fathers to live in luxury, while some hated it because the young boys don't want that luxury which they got from family.

They have always been working hard since high school for this dream. First, working as a part-timer by hiding it from their family to save money. And second, they always researched and learned more to know about the things they want to work hard for.

They got a lot of failures, but this time, the success seemed to be near. The gossips and taunts were about to get shut up with their success. A success like a boom in their life.

Both the boys rested on the couch, celebrating the night in their style; with pizza, wine, and a horror movie.

"Where were you the whole day?", Jackson inquired in curiosity. Placing the glass of wine back on the coffee table, he turned to look at his best friend.

Jackson stared at Richard with furrowed eyebrows, he waited for Richard to answer him but Richard got back into the flashback of the day. Dispute with his dad, gossips behind his back, and then espresso incident by the new girl.

The date night with the same girl and her innocent secrets made his day. Her small apartment compared to his great mansion made him realized what hard work actually means, and what sacrifice means for the love of the family who isn't even real.

"Hey man! Are you even listening to me?", Jackson asked as he hit hard on Richard's head. "I guess I interrupted you in the middle of something", he added as he looked awkwardly at Richard from head to toe.

"No!", Richard answered quickly with his eyes widen. He understood what Jackson mean. "I- I was just busy with things", he added with a sigh.

"Okay okay, I got it. But don't pretend to be this innocent you playboy", Jackson smirked at Richard. He knows his best friend very well. Richard Brown has never left any attractive girl without a nightstand. He is crazy for that more than Jackson.

"Whatever! But today I wasn't in the mood anyway!", Richard groaned rolling up his eyes and sipping the wine from the glass in his hands.

"Are you sure?", Jackson asked intentionally. He wished to go to the club and for that, he needs his partner in crime. "I was planning to go out in an hour with girls who will call me 'daddy'".

Richard gulped. Imagining what the last line would be if he goes now with Jackson in the club, was enough to turn him on. "f**k you! You will ruin my innocence!", Richard whined as he rubbed the small bulge under his pant, before standing up in his place. "Shall we take separate cars?", he added with a lopsided smirk.

"Of course, I'm planning to do it in the car tonight and I don't want you to interfere with my work", Richard stood up too as he walked out of his house with Richard, on the way to the club, before switching off the TV and lights.

"Richard Brown, Son of our chairman has proved yesterday that he is well raised and taught how to be a successful entrepreneur. Yesterday evening, he released the teaser of his upcoming game which turned out to be loved by millions in just a few hours".

"Fans has shown their love with tons of comments and fanmade posts on social media. We wish a stroke of very good luck to our upcoming new star in the country! For more information about his life and work, turn to page no. 4", Sana read out loudly the little article printed on the very first page of the company's newsletter with a big picture of Richard.

"Does he create games?", Sana asked in curiosity to the girls working in the kitchen. "But I heard he does nothing rather than spending his dad's money".

"Of course, he does that", Lucy spoke up. "I mean not by creating the game, it is done by Jackson. Richard has invested a lot in his friend's company which is not even his".

"It's not sure that Richard used his father's money in an investment, he was caught doing part-time and is said that he used that money which he saved", Emily spoke up arguing with Lucy.

"But what if he uses his father's money? It's his anyway, right? He can use it in any way he wants", Sana mumbled in puzzlement. She was clueless about why everyone hates him to spend his father's money.

"You can use your father's money as you wish but when making it obvious that you don't love your family, then who will appreciate you to spend all his father's hard work over something he isn't sure about and which is not even his?", Lucy said with a sigh.

"Never loved his family?", Sana interrogated. She was curious to know more about the man who made her heartbeat increase crazily, the last night.

"He and his father has never been in a good relationship with each other. Many of us have always heard them both arguing with each other whenever Richard comes to the company", Lucy explained.

Taking a seat on the chair beside Sana, she added further. "Mr. Brown wants to give his entire company and factories to Richard but he never seems to appreciate the opportunity he is getting easily without any hard work. Mr. Brown loves his son but Richard never respected his love for him".

"And this is why the entire company hates him for his actions and mind of thinking. They say that Mrs. Brown is sick too just because of the behavior of their son. But he seems to be proving everyone wrong now. His first step of success has amused everyone, let's see what more happens further", said Emily in excitement. She might be excited as other fans for the video game.

Sana nodded. She doesn't have anything much to speak up about. She has met Richard only once, thus she can't judge him over anything. Neither in a good or a bad way, nor she could discuss him more with others as they could take her in a wrong way.

The only thing Sana could do right now is to forget everything that happened and focus on her work to earn more money and pay the debt of her family.

"Well, what happened last night? Did you guys went together for dinner?", Emily remembered out of sudden about yesterday which made her curious to know what happened.

"Yeah! You were the lady luck I guess!", Lucy added with a chuckle. Both the girls stared at Sana in interest to know what happened between the two of them.

Sana gulped, she recalled deliberately about yesterday whatever happened. No matter how many times Sana wants to get rid of the awful memories with Richard, she couldn't.

"I- I actually-"

"Miss. Jonas, hope you had a nice sleep last night", Mina said cutting off Sana in mid-sentence and making the girls startle.

"Ye-yes?", Sana sounded more like asking a question.

"You had a difficult day on the first day of your job, I thought you might have released the stress with a good sleep last night and a delicious cup of coffee in the morning", Mina let out as she crossed her arms and began tapping her heels against the floor.

"Oh! Yes, sorry for my mistakes about yesterday. I'll concentrate more on my work and won't give you any chance to get mad over me", Sana apologized.

Her face glowed up with the warm and assuring smile she gave to Mina. "I hope you mean it", Mina said clenching her jaw and rolling up her eyes, before leaving the girls back alone in the kitchen.

"Finally she left", Emily said annoyingly as she put on the apron and began fixing her makeup in the mirror.

"Mina might be jealous", Lucy smirked. "She was jealous of Sana going out with Richard".

"What?", both Emily and Sana spoke up in unison.

"But why?", Emily inquired. She already hated the arrogant secretary of Mr. Brown and now listening to this made her more irritated of Mina's existence.

"I heard they were friends in high school and she had a crush on Richard. But something happened between them which made Richard begin hating her. Since then, Richard never has seen her as a good friend as she was of him before, but she still loves him. That's the reason she became the Secretary of Mr. Brown and joined this company to be more around Richard or his family".

Lucy explained everything making the things more obvious to understand. "Might be that is the reason why Richard doesn't want to join this company? Because if he join then he has to be around a girl he hates much?", Emily doubted.

"It might be one of the reasons", Sana spoke up. "A businessman like Richard won't be giving up something just for one reason, that too a girl. There might be other reasons behind this".

"It can be", Lucy sighed as she spoke up. She stood up from the chair and continued doing her work which made the other girls start their work too and leave the gossip aside to focus more on work.
