*Ember*
As we approached where the women were gathered I saw some that I knew from my old pack. My old and new all gathered around. They seemed to be divided into three groups. Some were cooking on an outdoor stove, newly made with red brick. I could even see an oven opening. It reminded me of the brick ovens used to make pizza. One group was gathered around wash buckets washing clothes and hanging them up. The Others were busy with the children. Keeping them occupied so they didn't run into trouble. As I looked around more I could see some of the men hauling wood to build more homes, and splitting some for the stove. It wasn't long before I noticed.
"Oh my could it really be Ember Ren?" I look to see that it was Madison, one of my mother's closest friends. I smile at her.
