Chapter 26: Talfryn The refugees soon became apparent. At first there were only a few dotting the road, and they ducked off the path into the woods to speed up and get past them. Akton suggested they keep camping in the trees to avoid crossing paths with anyone, and held Talfryn through the night to share warmth. Talfryn still cooked, although with a very controlled flame and no wood so as not to leave behind ash.
