Road to graduation

It was first day of my college (Graduation college). I was a bit nervous but did not show it on my face. The reason for my nervousness was up untill Today my school was all girls and my secondary education college was co-ed one but my class was only girls. This is the first time i'am attending a college with both boys and girls.
So I entered in the class and sat in one of the empty desk. I saw most of them were already friends and were enjoying the gossips.
"Guess I will be alone in this college" I thought to my self.
Just then a girl entered, who was looking fair tall and slim but as a nervous as me. I could sense her nervousness. She was searching where to sit. So I waved my hand to let her know that she can sit with me on the bench.
"Hi my name is Fiza" she said, "Hello I'm Sia" and we both shook our hands. Instantly we became friends. Fiza though seemed timid she was very smart and intelligent and anyone who talk with her can say that by the way she talks. I came to know that Fiza was from a different state and she was completely new to this place. She was in a PG (paying guest) nearby.
There was a girl sitting in the front row of mine. Joey was her name but she looked as if none of us were worthy enough for her. Atleast her expression was like that. Joey was dark, tall, and a Tom boy.
Since it was start of the academic year, classes haven't started yet and most the time went away with introductions and stuff.
One day we went for tour of our labs for practicals. Guess what my lab partners were Joey and Fiza. After the lab session Joey and Fiza became my besties and we became inseperable. Fiza and Joey were complete opposite to each other. Fiza was clam quiet and shy natured but Joey was a tornado, the word calm and Joey would never go together. But our bond was so strong that, people literally thought we were lesbians. Joey was always clingy to me which gave rise to the rumour.
"Stupid Joey".
