Aaliyah smiles as she looks at her friends finding their mates. She can't believe it was so easy for them to find their other halves by just leaving their pack. It seems to her, her old pack has its own problems and that is why no one is finding their mates. No one really leaves their old pack to explore or find their mates. Everyone just settles down with someone in the pack. Looking around Aaliyah realizes that something has to change. Packs can't just stay to themselves and not intermingle. Otherwise how will anyone find their mates? How can the Goddess help if the packs aren't working together. It shouldn't be hard to throw gatherings for other packs to join in. Then, everyone could have a chance to meet their mates. It would be a better life for everyone. We all worship the same goddess and have the same beliefs and backgrounds. Different packs shouldn't mean solitude. They should be able to get together without wars and fighting over land. Aaliyah knows that rogues will always be a problem, but it shouldn't mean that they should fear the unknown.
Aaliyah looks at Pat, "This is amazing! I am so happy Nat and Meg found their mates!"
Pat laughs, "Well let me introduce you to my Beta and Gamma, who seems to be the mates to Nat and Meg." Pat wraps his arm around Aaliyah and pulls her closer to his side, "And guys, I would like to introduce your new Luna, Aaliyah. The goddess has blessed all of us today! We should throw a feast for the whole pack. It is time to show our mates off to the pack and let the ladies meet other pack members."
Pat's idea was met with a chorus of yells, and catcalls. Everyone in the area around the packhouse grew excited seeing their leaders have found their mates. Knowing that nothing but blessings will befall them from now on.
