Chapter 1: Kyra's POV/Background
Kyra has a secret very few know.
She is a Trybrid. The world knew her for a strong she-wolf. Daughter of the Alpha and Luna of the Diamond Moon Pack.
What they didn't know, was she was also part Angel and Phoenix. The angel should have come as no surprise to anyone as her mother came from the Celestial Kingdom. But when she never "showed" signs of having her own angel, all thought she was only a werewolf.
The Phoenix though. This is a gift from the Gods. A sign she was to protect and provide for all the kingdoms of the supernatural.
Krya had just recently turned 21 and had been studying abroad in Translyvania with the Council of Supernaturals. They had been working with and training her on understanding and mastering all her different supernaturals. It took a lot of training to manage each of her supernaturals. She'd been with the council and away from her pack and family for over 5 years. She could have found her mate when she was 18. But she had been kept away and hidden in the depths of the Council until she was ready.
She had a twin brother and a younger sister and brother (also twins). All of her siblings were pure were. Krya never understood why she was different or, as some said, "special". As her twin brother, Kyle, was older than her, he would take over as Alpha of the Diamond Moon Pack one day. She knew this day was fast approaching and she would be called back home.
Home. Home....something she hasn't known for years. Was it even home when she lived there? Always different. Even if very few knew. She'd always been strong and fast. One of the top junior warriors in her pack as she was growing up. Her wolf first came to her at age 11; seven years earlier than any other wolf on record in their pack. Her twin didn't even meet his wolf until he was 15, which was not uncommon for an Alpha wolf.

I was sitting on my bed in the Council Manor when my phone started buzzing. It was one of the few modern world items I was allowed to have. I picked up my phone and see it was my mother. Odd, it wasn't Sunday...
"Hi Mom!"
"Krya, honey, how are you?" replied Mom.
"Doing alright, long day of training today."
"Good good."
"Mom, why are you calling? It's not Sunday.", still very confused.
"Well, uh, your father has decided to finally give up the Alpha position to your brother. You need to come home."
"Oh.", even knowing my brother would be Alpha still somewhat hurt me, especially knowing I was stronger than him. "Well, I need to speak with the Council about when I can leave. When is the Alpha Ceremony?", trying to hold back tears.
"Well, at least not for a month as we need to get all the necessary plans set for the Ceremony. But please, honey, get here as soon as possible.", somehow I felt like I could hear sadness in her voice. Did she know how this was making me feel?
"Yes, mom. I'll let you know as soon as I am able to leave."
"Thank you honey. I'll make whatever arrangements you need. Just give me a date. I love you."
"Yes, mom. Love you too, bye". And I hung up the phone.
That phone call was not what I had expected today. But I knew it was time to go home. Time to go find the Elders and ask to leave.
