DAMIAN’S POV
I couldn't sleep all night. My mind was filled with so many questions and thoughts. At about 3 p.m., sleep finally took me after much turning and tossing.
The loud bang on my door forced me to wake up. I looked at the bedside clock, and it was just 5:30 in the morning. I had barely slept for two hours. I whipped my head towards the door angrily as the knocking continued.
“Who is that?” I growled angrily. I hated being forced to wake up, and everyone knew it. I decided to ignore it and go back to sleep, hoping the person would realize their grave mistake and leave.
The knock came again, this time louder than the last. “You better leave before I dismember you.” I growled louder at the person constituting the nuisance.
