Two weeks had gone by. Two weeks of stress and strain filled with s****l tension and oppressive silence splashed only with small talk. Theron had continued his daily massages and baths, though he was sure to wear a poker face throughout every minute.
Leah was bored out of her mind, even with the portable color TV he had brought up for her nearly a week ago. She was also slightly nervous. Today would be the first day of her actual physical therapy. Though there still had been no movement in either of her legs or feet, Theron felt that time in the pool would have a therapeutic effect on her numb limbs.
