Chapter Six Searon sat by the warm fire with blankets wrapped around himself as he stared at the flames. Snow fell from the sky all around him. He loved the winter, but didn’t care to travel in it, and it made Arria’s tracks even harder to follow. Part of him wished he hadn’t waited a few days to get started, but he welcomed the help from his companions. He felt like they slowed him down. He knew he could travel so much faster if he were by himself, but he appreciated not being alone all the same. He was able to trace Arria traveling south, but now with the few inches of snowfall, it would prove more difficult.
