I zipped my bags after checking it one last time, put it on my shoulders, took my phone and walked out. Today was the day. Yvonne, Mr. and Mrs. Johnson and my family were waiting outside for me. The hostel was quiet, having been evacuated two days ago for the spring break. Yvonne was supposed to go too but she insisted on staying back with me, for me. I still couldn’t make out what deed I had done to have come across a friend like her; it wasn’t just this, it was everything she had done for me from Day 1.
