The spoilt brat

Areefa My name is Areefa Abdullah and I'm the only girl and the last born in my family, I'm 19 years old, 20 in 5 months. I have an elder brother Faisal Abdullah who happens to be the most annoying person in the world. I study at the University of Chicago, USA. I am studying biological science with my friends, I rarely need anything because I have everything.  Walking down the school halls with my 3 best friends, people got out of our way. I guess it's time for me to introduce them. the first was: Zainab Abubakar I've known her since primary 5, she's the kind of girl who likes doing the opposite of what she's told, In other words, my partner in crime. Amina Mansur She's quiet and hardly does any harm, I've known her since ss1, she's the type who gets punished for what she didn't do because we make trouble and they punish her along with us cause we're in the same group.  Farida Tariq I've known Farida since I was a baby, we practically grew up together giving the fact that her mom is my mom's best friends. Her Dad is Egyptian and he's a Muslim, while her mom is from Lagos and she's Christian. she was raised by her mom after her mom and dad got separated. I headed toward my looker and I couldn't believe who I was seeing, that back biting b***h halima.  Halima jallo Halima and I have been enemies since jss3, we actually used to be very close but she betrayed me and ever since  I and her have had nothing between us but hatred.  "oh look what the wind dragged in, the parrot." I took a jab at her, My friends started laughing hard "oh please areefa I'm not in the mood to start with you I have my problems ok?" she says looking irritated  "oh please miss drama queen Its one thing or another every time,god have some dignity at least." I shake my head  Her two friends Rabi and muhsina were standing right next to her with their arms crossed.  "cant you leave her alone areefa? she's not in the mood or are you deaf." Rabi interjected  "what's deafening are those clothes your wearing, the combination is wack, or should I call it a rainbow. Anyway gotta go I have other things to do, girls let's go" I roll my eyes bumping into her as I walk past her  "I really don't like that girl." I hear Halima mumble as we walk past her  As we were walking we spotted Maryam,here she comes.  Maryam hussain Maryam Hussain is a good friend of ours too but not as the four of us are, She's the type that bails on you when things go wrong.  "hi guys What's up" a huge smile plays on her lips  "oh hi traitor I can't believe you bailed on me and let me take all the fall when Mr Macalla caught us cheating." Zainab eyed her warily  "I'm sorry I was kinda scared that's why." she tried holding Zainabs hand who wasn't having it  "look we're friends, don't think we don't know that you go back and forth between this click and halimas, I'll let it slide but soon you'll have to choose who your friends are" Zainab states  "exactly I don't like fake people." farida stares at her like she was some kind of parasite  "Come on girls stop picking on her let her be, don't mind these bullies." I smile trying to make her feel better  We went back home and I was busy chatting with Asma, Asma was a girl I met on **. We just hit it off, we shared so much in common and got along really well.  "guys I just got a text from a friend, there's going to be an awesome party and I think we should go." farida announced excited  "I'm up for anything." i reply shortly  "we have a test in 2 weeks I think we should just study." Amina whined in disagreement  "oh please book warm let's just go party and cause trouble." Zainab danced around the room  We got dressed and headed out, arriving at the event and as expected the place was crowded. I sat there chatting while the other girls were dancing. Amina was with her boyfriend, they were sitting outside on the swing talking and laughing...... Love birds. After a while the party was over and we left.  I went home took a shower got into my pj's and was ready to start chatting when I  realized I haven't seen my phone. I looked everywhere and couldn't find it.  "has anyone seen my phone around." I asked ripping through my things  They all shook their head saying they haven't seen it.  "maybe you left it at the house we had the party, why don't you try calling the phone." she suggested as went back to studying  I called it and it didn't take long before the phone was answered by a guy.  "hello"  "hello are you the owner of this phone?" his calm voice asked  "yeah that's me" "well you left it at my place, I'll hold onto it. you should come to get it tomorrow." his smooth voice proposed "Sure, but you better not try hacking my phone. I'm warning you" I growled  "initially I had no intention of doing so but now that you've suggested it I'm curious and I'll have to check what you're hiding." he mocked ending the call, I can't believe! it who the hell is this guy.....
