We sat In a quite place not knowing how to start the convo... "so how have you been?"
" I'm doing good" she looks down at the cup of milkshake in her handb
"I heard you graduated last month." sue nod slowly
"Have you decided weather to further your education or start your NYSC?"
"I'm not sure right now, I haven't thought about it yet"
"Owh" I found myself speechless
"Have you concluded your service"
"yeah I have, I'm working now"
"oh that's good to hear the" she smiled awkwardly
"yeah I guess, But I kinda missed you.." I confess
A dust of color rushed on her face, is she blushing? Cute "really?? That's good I can't say I feel the same but I'm glad you did." We talked for a while and eventually left, I have to say she has grown up compared to the last time I saw her. it's like she's a different person, I couldn't wrap my head around it.
Areefas
I was so tired, after I came back home I prayed took a hot shower and went straight to bed, but I couldn't sleep. I kept thinking about Ashraf, it's been so long it felt really good seeing him, even though I was so nervous. then I remembered the party which made me remember about Farida, i picked my phone up and called her but her phone was switched off. I tried to call Amina and Zainab but theirs was off too, I hope they are OK. i called too Asma but it rang out, maybe they are busy having fun since I seeing as I'm back home early.
I woke up by the sound my phone was making, who is calling me this early In the morning? I thought lazily picking up the phone and answering it...
"h-hello" my sleep-deprived voice answered
"are you still sleeping?" Amina asked
"duh, I called you guys yesterday including Asma but no one answered, we'll technically asma didn't answer yours was off.
"yeah my phone ran down but Farida and zainabs phone was stolen so asma was helping them look for it that's why she couldn't answer your call
"Thats horrible, did they find it?"
"Ashraf helped Farida with finding hers, they tracked it, but zainab couldn't find hers. Talking about Ashraf I was shocked that he was asmau's brother." she gushed
"yeah you weren't the only one I was taken aback as well"
"it's quite a good reunion" she answered giggling.
"quit it, I just woke up so let's talk later"
"ok Chao!"

"Asma stop disturbing me for God's sake.." I groaned miserable
"So are you saying you're into her?" sue repeated the question she repeatedly asked me for the past 30 minutes
"I told you we're just friends"
"is that why your eyes were glowing when you saw her?"
"no they weren't glowing, I was surprised to see her that's all...." I argued
"uhm I hear you, even though I'm still not convinced." she rolled her eyes
"since we're on that topic, can you give me her number I think I lost it."
She laughs loudly "fine I'll send it to you through What's app" which she immediately did "don't forget to call her and don't be a jerk."
"that will be difficult." She glares at me and turn leave the room. As I dialed her number I was getting all sweaty, nervous, and tensed up, pull yourself together ashraf I whispered to myself. But she didn't pick which made me breath out in relief. I was starting to relax when i saw her calling me back, oh God she's calling....

i saw her call my heart started beating rapidly, I calmed myself down before I answered the call.
"hello"
"hi who am I talking to please?" her sweet voice called
"it's ashraf asma's brother"
"oh ashraf how are you?"
"I'm good, hope you got back home safely?"
"yeah I did and how did you sleep?"
"Very good though I still feel tired"
"yeah for sure, so how is asma?"
"she's good just feel sorry that zainab lost her phone." I wish I could do more and Asma still felt bad
"yeah I heard about it, but she shouldn't feel that way. zainab already bought a new one so tell her not to worry."
"yeah ok i will" I mumbled, We talked for almost 3 hours and after a while we said our goodbyes.
Areefa's
i ended the call and Amina, Farida and zainab were giving me "the look" they always gave me that look when they wanted to tease me. "so you guys are "at it" again?" farida wiggled her eyebrow
"lol what do you mean by "at it" we never had that." I rolled my eyes
"yeah but it looks like you will, he looks more handsome than before." Farida teased
"yeah he looks really handsome, I was drolling" we burst out laughing at Zainab antics "yeah whatever" I mumbled
"yeah bashow told me that he's been asking of you a lot and now that you've met again he seems really happy and can't stop talking about you." farida commented
I feel my cheeks grow got "yeah well whatever"
"oh look at you your blushing" they laugh high fiving each other
"but if he asks you out what will you say?" Amina inquiries
"everything is worth giving a try I guess." I answer
Ashraf's
"so we like talked for a long time and we just had lots of fun, she's s so funny!" i gushed
"dude you told me that already, can you stop talking about this girl." bashow looked so done
"I don't know i just feel this emotions all at once and it feels amazing at the same time it's driving me crazy." I found myself smiling
"like of all people you? You mean you feel that way?" bashow gawked
"yeah the truth is...... I think am in love with her....." I confess
