Nineteen This is ridiculous, Luke thought when he nearly tripped over his own feet. By some miracle, he managed to keep hold of the three plates he carried, but he had to set the one in his right hand on the end of the bar to readjust the one balanced precariously on his left wrist. Exhaustion quivered through him, and it took more effort than it should to recover from the simple misstep. Maybe I’m finally getting to the breaking point.
