Several months passed, Liu Bei and Steven Lee has worked on the liquid but still haven't got a solution on how to lessen the side effect. The higher - up become impatient, their research costs a lot of money but hasn't shown a promising result. That's why when the financial crisis happened and all department budgets cut down, their project is the first one to be stopped.

Feng Lin's career is getting better, she was pointed as the head of the Research and Development Department. She often goes on a business trip, due to his school little Liu can't join her and has to stay at home with his father. At first, everything still goes normally, Liu Bei is happy he has time to take a break and spend time with little Liu.

But after hearing the neighbor gossiping about him as a useless husband who asks for money from his wife, he becomes a bad-tempered person. Feng Lin always gets mentally bullied by him, one time he criticizes her for not being a good mother, other times he said he is not a good wife. Until one day after Steven Lee comes to visit to invite them to his wedding, the jealousy has its highest point, "You regret it, don't you?! It should be your name on that invitation!"

She keeps experimenting, improving the success rate of the blue liquid. The gratitude from a recovered person is what gives her satisfaction as a human being.

The rumor spread quickly, though it hasn't been produced on a large scale. Liu Bei heard about it, and he was there when he saw Feng Lin and Steven speaks intimately (though it was in his eyes only).

"Steven long time no see you, how are you?"

"I am fine Lin Lin, I heard about your success."

"What success? I am just doing okay."

"(whispering) I heard about the blue thing, and I think when it combines with the potion I made, it can be a great invention!"

"What kind of potion is it Steven? Is it something you worked with Liu Bei last time?"

Liu Bei looks at them, he saw them at first casually chatting but later he saw Feng Lin walk away angrily.

So the blue liquid can lessen the side effect of the potion we made last time, Liu Bei saw this as an opportunity to expand his business. He can only kill people in a common way now, and he knows sooner or later he will get caught. Some clients the higher up didn't dare to use his service, but this is a fantastic opportunity! Liu Bei feels very excited, seeing the future where he can rule the world, oh my he can't wait for it...

"Feng Lin look! The blue liquid has shown an improvement in repairing the damaged cells, congratulations!"

"That's great news, a superb one! Our hard work has paid off, we can help the little girl and many people with cancer..."Feng Lin's eyes filled with tears.

She remembered her experience when she visited The Light Hospital, a hospital that specialized in treating a cancer patient. A little girl with a pale face and bald head approached her, her smile is so bright "Aunty, are you the angel that God sent for us?"

Her Mom whispers to Feng Lin "I am so sorry, she was crying and refused to do the chemotherapy, it hurts and makes her feel nauseous. She has just lost her friend yesterday due to the same illness, I promised her if she behaved well God will send one of His angels to help her."

"I see..." Feng Lin crouches down and smiles "Hi...I am Feng Lin, what is your name?"

"I am Faith..."

"Wow...what a great name! Aunty comes here to do research on cancer treatment, I promise I will try my best to find it. Can yo keep fighting and waiting for me? Your fighting spirit will support me in working harder..."

"Oh, do you really mean it?" Faith holds Feng Lin's face with her little hands.

"Yes...with all my heart, I will work day and night to create it." Feng Lin moves that little hand to her heart.

"Mom, you are not lying to me. God really sends His angel here..." the little girl runs to her mom and hugs her.

"Mom, please don't cry...I promise you I will listen to your words."

Feng Lin looks at her watch, It's still 1 o'clock in the afternoon. "I still have time to bring this to the hospital. Cancel all my appointment today, I will go to visit Faith."

She drives her car while listening to the music, her heart fills with hope, a hope for a great future. At 2 o'clock, she arrives at the hospital, she hurriedly goes to Faith's room while imagining Faith's big smile.

Feng Lin moves aside, she looks at the nurse who pushes the pacemaker to room 501 "Oh God...Faith!!" She runs and enters the room hastily "Faith, I have brought the cure...Please keep on fighting..."

She can't accept this, she drives her car straight to her home "Liu Fei?!"

"Mom, what happened? are you crying?"

She hugs her child desperately.

1 month after that day, Feng Lin who works extra hard gets the funding for The Blue liquid. She moves to the big white house.
