He was a little guy who always been bullied by his friends, though they hit him so hard he never cried, instead he is looking for a place to learn to be strong. After months of being bullied, he has become immune to their hits and mockery. And the bullies become bored and angrier, one day they try to hit him and push him to a hole, they want to bury him alive hoping he will break down and ask them to pull him out. But that never happens, when they try to hit him, he fights back fiercely. The fights get the teacher's attention and their parents being called to the school. All of them blame him and the teacher believes in them, their parents shout at his parents who can only say sorry.

When they are at home, he immediately says sorry to his parents. His father looks at him and said, " Son I know they are the one who bullies you, your mother has told me how her heart hurt when she saw you full of bruises. But let me ask you, do you still want to go to medical school? That school has a 90% chance to let their graduates student get in the best medical school here."

Liu Bei, Steven Lee, Wang Feng Lin are 3 top students, who always compete to be the best. Though they are competitors, they like to study and do things together. Until one day the love triangle breaks that friendship. Wang Feng Lin falls in love with Steven Lee, but he prioritizes his career. On the other hand, Liu Bei is in love with her.

Though in the end Feng Lin and Liu Bei get married, due to his pride, Liu Bei always feels that he is only a backup plan. Their marriage is getting better when Feng Lin gives birth to Liu Fei. For a while they both busy showering Liu Fei with their love as new parents until one day an offer comes to Liu Bei.

The offer comes from the government, he is invited to work in the military facility to develop a new weapon. His friend Steven Lee is the head of that team, he remembers Liu Bei is strong in the biotech also, he will give a big help for him. The offering is hard to reject, they need the money to raise Liu Fei, they both only work in a small medical factory.

The first day he comes, they spend some time to remember their old times. When Steven asks him about Feng Lin, he feels a little kick in his heart.
