What a lovely name.

P. Some people naturally gave this aura around them, that when you meet them, you tend to be free around them. And that's exactly how I felt around principal Kane after seeing the shock or 'amazement' as I would put it, in his eyes after I told him my name, was one I could plead to see again. Purple Stone. Whenever that name is heard, it usually carried a sense of disbelief to the listeners as to why a person would bear the color purple, but truth be told I love my name. I once asked my mom why she named me purple, and as she said, 'You were just too unique to be called a regular name.' that was her statement. And ever since, I never questioned her about it anymore and loved my name like I should. Afterall if a person could bear violet, why couldn't i bear purple? The direction to history class wasn't that hard to find even without using the Map, as I just followed what the principal told me. I got to the 3rd class after passing biology, and government class as the 1st and 2nd, then there stood 'HISTORY' written just above the door. I inhaled and exhaled, catching my breath before I presented myself to the class. Opening the door slightly my heart raced, danced and did all kinds summersaults. You know this feeling in your stomach that usually happens just when you're about to get to school? Well that how nervous I felt right now. "Hi." I spoke nervously, as I entered the class looking at the female teacher who stood right in front of me with a smile on her face. I couldn't find the courage to look at the rest of the class, as my whole focus was on her like she was the only one I saw. "Hello," She replied. "Sorry to interrupt. I'm a new student and....um...I'm offering history." I said to her breathing heavily, as I spoke word to word. Her expression was kind, and not only that, she had a very beautiful structure. Her face was well structured like that of a model, and when she smiled she looked really beautiful. "Well then, you're welcome. Go on, take a seat." She gestured with her hands, as I followed them with my gaze. Sooner or later I had to admit that there were other persons inthe class and all those voices that I tried to block and just pretended it was just I and the teacher was long gone. The room was filled with students as everyone moved their lips and whispered, while looking at me making it obvious that they were indeed talking about me. "Looks like we have a new ranking," I heard someone from the crowd say. New ranking? What did that even mean? I spotted a sit straight at the middle of the class and went there. "Would you mind telling us your name?" I heard the teacher speak from afar. "Me?" I pointed to myself to be clear if she was talking to me. "Yes you. Most teachers don't really do this, but I make it a priority to know my students." She spoke gracefully. For the love of God. So much for not wanting attention. She should have been one of those teachers too! Everyone was quiet, as the whole class seemed to have gone silent just waiting for me to speak up. Well no s**t. "Purple." I spoke, but no sound was heard. Every where was still quiet, as no one seemed to have said anything. "Pardon?" The teacher furrowed her gaze, as I could see her raise an eyebrow. I squeezed my eyes shut, before opening them and getting them ready for another drama. "My name is purple. Purple Stone." I said and instantly the whispers started as students talked. It was too much that I couldn't even concentrate, the only one I heard from behind me was, 'why the hell is her name purple?' Well because it just is. "What a lovely name. Well purple, I'm Miss Evelyn." She spoke, as I finally figured out her name. At least she wasn't judgmental. I gave her a smile letting her know I understood what she said and appreciated it. The class went on as Miss Evelyn discussed some things on the history of the country. I still felt nervous as I could feel eyes boring into my back and I knew they were all from students. So I did the unthinkable. I turned. I freaking turned back. Which I shouldn't have. I felt different pairs of eyes staring at me, all from different people, but that wasn't what scared me. It was who they were all from. I should have stayed on my level and not tried turning back, because right now I could feel their eyes fixed on me. The guys with the red collar. The ones whose uniform was different from mine and the rest of the students. Shit! I didn't know they were even in this class. I watched as all of them stared at me as I also couldn't avert my gaze. After all its not everyday you get to have to set of handsome boys glancing your way. 1..2...3...4...5.6.7.....8.......and 9. I counted them all one by one not missing anyone. Or so I thought. How wrong was I. And...10. I landed on the last one which made me blink twice than I have already done before, not believing my eyes. Could this be real. Could he be real....... But.......he looks too perfect. Too perfect to be true. His brown orbs shined brightly as I stared at him not believing what I was seeing, for the figure in front of me was too handsome to call a human being. He had this capturing gaze that one look at him, I got trapped just by his gaze on me. Not only for what he wore as I glanced downwards looking at his appearance. His blazer was slightly different from the rest. He had a red collar also but that was not all. All others had black buttons but he had red buttons that shined brightly bringing much focus on them. I was mesmerized. I looked upwards to get a second glance and met his gaze still fixed on mine. I averted my eyes and returned back not wanting this situation to get more awkward that it has already, as I now faced miss Evelyn. For God's sake. What did I just see? A beautiful boy, Purple. A very beautiful boy.
