Chapter 13 - Powers

Logan’s POV

“Enter” I called Dean and Chris came into my office.  “Morning Alpha'' Dean said as his gaze moved on to my Leah.  “Leah this is my Beta Dean and my Gamma Chris'' I introduced them.  “So this is who you’ve been hiding” Dean said as he elbowed Chris grinning.  “Yes, this is Leah my mate” I said as I pulled Leah in closer to me.  “Logan I am going to take a bath. Everything hurts after shifting last night” Leah said to me as I released her and stood up to help her to her feet.  “Alright my love, I will be in here with these two nutcases if you need anything” Leah blushed and gave me a kiss on my cheek as she headed to the bedroom.  She turned before leaving the room and looked at Chris and Dean.  “You too!” they both said as she left shutting the door.  

Angela and I looked at each other confused by what just happened.  Chris and Dean walked over and sat down.  “What did you guys say that?”  I asked them, they both seemed confused and Dean explained “She said it was nice to meet us”.  “Dean'' Angela pipped in “We didn’t hear her speak”.  “What do you mean?”  Chris asked, “we both heard her''.  Angela sat back thinking for a moment “Logan I think we just discovered her first magical power”.  Both Chris and Dean had confused looks on their face.  “I have a lot to tell you,” I said.  “Angela can you put up a protection spell that prevents any of us discussing this outside of this room?” I asked Angela.  Angela closed her eyes for a few moments and nodded when she opened them.

I spent the next 30 minutes telling Chris and Dean about Leah with Angela’s help.  They both looked like excited school boys when I was finished.  “So what do you need us to do?” Dean egarily asked.  “Dean, I would like you to up training with the Warriors and build teams as special forces, we also need to start training self defense skills to the pack members who aren’t already training.  Chris we need to upgrade our bunker, ideally I want something that can house the entire pack incase of emergency” they both nodded.  “Angela what can we do for protection?” I asked her “Well my protection spell around that territory isn’t strong enough and wont last long so the coven and I will work to build a stronger long last spell”.  “Logan do you think anyone knows about her?” Dean asked.  “I’m not sure, there’s a reason she was being held captive and according to the Alpha King he was not aware that she was missing. The packs Beta took over until she came of age and found a mate to take the Alpha position but her Uncle did not make the King aware she was missing.  I have a feeling he had something to do with it, but whether he knew who she was I’m not sure”.  

“Well as much as I enjoy hanging with the boys club I have some witchy stuff to attend to '' Angela stated getting up.  “You two idiots need to get started, we don't know what we're in for” she said to Dean and Chris.  “Logan, update Charles but be careful there’s a chance if someone knows about her they might be looking for her now that she’s shifted, with technology you don’t know who's listening”.  I nodded agreeing as the three of them left my office.  I needed the Alpha King to come here.
