SARAH POV:
On Thursday morning, I knelt by my bed to pray, but nothing came out of my mouth. I rested my head on the bed and closed my eyes, but I didn't feel moved to say a prayer. Since my mother died two years ago, confusion, worry, and rage have become the norm.
Everything appeared to be going wrong all at once. Two months after her death, I lost my job, and my hopes to have my own apartment were cut short.
My attempt to find another work with my First Class Certificate in Applied Psychology was likewise unsuccessful, but the most recent development seemed to be draining my patience and self-control.
I had breakfast ready before seven o'clock, so I put it on the table for my father and went to take a bath. I changed and returned to the sitting room, where I found Dad eating. I muttered a low 'good morning, sir,' and then heard a knock just as I was about to eat.
'Who is that?' As I opened the door,. In front of me stood the person who had made my life a living nightmare.

Hannah was awakened by the ringing of her phone, and she knew who was calling because of the tone, "I just want to say I love you."
She grinned as she took the phone in her hand.
She said, "Good morning, baby boy."
Over the phone, Jack said, "Hey honey."
She said, "hmmm, it's great hearing your voice early in the morning."
"Dear, how was your night?"
"I dreamed of you," she admitted, a smug grin on her face.
"Hey darling, before you make me late for work," he laughed, "I need to tell you something."
"Is there anything for me?" she inquired.
"Well, tell your friend, what is her name, yes, Sarah, that she should come to our hospital on Monday to start working," he pretended to be serious and coughed.
"What are you saying?" she virtually yelled, immediately rising to her feet.
"Yes, sweetie," Tony exclaimed, "she got the job."

SARAH POV
I gave John a chilly stare.
"How did you end up here?"
With a shake of his head, he said,
"Do you welcome your future husband in this manner?" “Let me in,” he said.
I mockingly laughed.
"You're insane." I've always understood that, but I didn't realize how serious it was.”
He smiled.
Dad yelled, "Sarah," and I stiffened.
"Let him in right now."
I stood in the doorway with my arms akimbo.
"Sarah," unwillingly stepped aside as I looked at John. I slammed the door in his face so hard that the whole house shook.
Dad gave me a cold stare before turning to John and grinning.
Mr. Marcus, good morning," John remarked.
"Good morning, my son." Sorry for her rudeness; she was simply being a child," dad explained.
With a disgusted sigh, I rolled my eyes.
It's incredible what people will do for money and power.
'Why can't this moron accept the word 'no' as an answer?" I was surprised.
“I am done with the arrangements, sir,” John said with a smile.
Dad almost burst out of his skin with joy. "Oh, John, you are a gift from God; may God bless you a million times over."
"What arrangement?" I inquired, confused. My phone rang before he could answer, and I walked to the room to answer it, realizing it was Hannah. Unlike our typical lengthy conversations, the call was over in about two minutes. I virtually danced around my room after letting out a loud shout of excitement, unable to contain my joy.
My bedroom was invaded by my father and John.
"How did you end up here?" I inquired, unable to conceal my joy.
"What exactly do you mean?" "What's the big deal?", John was the one who inquired.
"Well, I just got a job, and not just anyone, but a really nice one," I boasted.
Dad and John exchanged stares. Dad answered, "Well, you're not accepting the job."
"Excuse me?".
"We would be leaving the city on Saturday, certainly." The plans have been made, so get ready for the wedding would take place as soon as we arrive." Dad remarked.
I froze in my tracks.

DOCTOR SAMUEL POV:
The tension in the Gracevid hospital's waiting room seems too hot. The nurses are always on the move, doing one thing or another. The waiting area is unusually rowdy, and individuals are hurriedly moving from pillar to pillar, despite the nurses' best efforts.
The source of the commotion lay on a bed in the operating room, surrounded by three doctors. He'd been in a terrible car accident on his way out
Because Gracevid Hospital was close by, he was brought there right away.
Tony stormed into the hospital as if he his possessed. When he met Harry's family and some acquaintances, he knew it wasn't a prank.
He cried, "No!" People gathered to assist him and calm him down, but he continued to be violent.
“No, he can't die,” “He was coming to see me, I... I
"Please calm down young man, everything will be alright," one of the nurses stated as he was taken to a chair.
After almost 2 hours, the three doctors appeared, looking exhausted and weary as they made their way to their offices. When Doctor Samuel walked into the waiting room, everyone grabbed on to him like a lifeline and bombarded him with questions. The doctor struggled to understand one question. “Calm down everyone, he is alive,” he finally said.
Everyone began talking at the same time once more, but this time they were thanking God.
“Thank you, doctor, God bless you,” Harry's father exclaimed as he approached the doctor. He is still alive, sir, but he is in a coma and needs prayers right now. His head was injured in the collision, and his odds of survival are bleak, according to doctor Samuel.
Harry's father's face was frozen as if he had seen a ghost.
Tony, who had been listening in, rose to his feet and grabbed the Doctor's shirt.
"Doctor, please make sure he survives." If I hadn't insisted on him coming to my house, he wouldn't be on that bed. If he..., if he..." I wouldn't be able to bear it.
Doctor Samuel place his head on his table, troubled, a few minutes later. Memories that he had fought for were flooding back to him, uncontrolled. Those were the memories that gave him nightmares on a regular basis.
A tap on the shoulder jolted him out of his thoughts.
“What is the matter, Samuel?” Samuel's best buddy, Doctor Jack, inquired.
"I... I'm alright."
"You aren't,". You are not fine if you did not hear me call your name." Jack expressed his concern.
“It's nothing,”. The tense atmosphere in the waiting room was more than I expected." Standing up, Samuel said.
"Sam, you're a doctor, and you've certainly seen worse," Jack said with a giggle.
"The patient's accident happened when he was driving to a friend's house, and the poor guy is virtually ripping his head off in guilt," Samuel muttered.
"And?" Jack inquired, still confused by his point.
"Jack, that guy has a 20% chance of survival, and I can't watch him die," Samuel stared at him. Do you recall that I know what the guy in the waiting room is going through?
Tony stood up, alarmed, and questioned, "Samuel, you're not still blaming yourself for what occurred then, are you?"
"Jack, I still have nightmares," Samuel said, his eyes frightened. I'll never forget it. I've done everything I can as a doctor, and I wouldn't want even my worst enemy in my shoes," he continued, taking a big breath.
"I'd like to get some fresh air," he stated as he walked out of the office.
